Never. Even for 10k and above non quota bags. But I will be happy to put on.. and happy to know that the bag I’m bringing home is clean and well protected.

Based on my experience, I have not been asked to put on the gloves. My SA usually shows me the non QB and I personally do not touch if I am not buying

I was asked to use disposable gloves when I wanted to look at a GP at Liat, but was never asked at Taka (home store). But so far the bags I touched at Taka were QBs that I will and have taken home.

No never. Just thinking out loud - Was it some light coloured bag like Craie or Nata?

Thank you all for the replies. I was taken aback as it was the first time I was asked to put on disposable gloves. It was a bag in Noir, not light colored. Seems like it's sort of the norm. Now I feel better. Was feeling a little slighted

Yup, only for items on display. It extends to jewellery too.

This is puzzling. Maybe it differs from outlet to outlet coz I’ve touched everything under the sun (FJ, twillies, bags etc from the display shelves and store) without having to put on disposable gloves. Never seen anyone in our outlet wearing disposable gloves either. My last visit was just before CNY on 30th Jan. Is this a newly implemented practice in Feb? I’m gonna ask my SA when I collect some items in March. TBH I don’t know how I’d react if my SA were to ask me to put on gloves.

Yes. I did wear disposable gloves before touching the bag (mini Lindy & K).

I guess wearing gloves or not is not a fixed rules. I would think is SA individuals. Back then I got assigned to a random SA, I was asked to put on disposable gloves before even touching just a card holder. I been to the Changi airport shopping event thingy, the SA over there also handed me pair of gloves before trying on a Picotin, I bought the Picotin. Went for the same event again and looked for the same SA, I wasn't required to put on gloves before trying on a lindy 26 and a constance slim, I bought the constance slim. So I guess it's up to the SA comfortability level and he/she think that whether or not you will buy. My current SA did not ask me to wear gloves for everything that I've tried, for QB, I guess that won't be necessary since I already know the combi and agreed to it so all I need is to enjoy the heart beating unboxing, make payment and bring her home

Wife saw the purple ostrich oran too.. the color was nice.. but said she prefers the lizard as already had a blue ostrich oran..

Hi all, I have a huge dilemma and hope that some kind soul here can help me with it.

I have been shopping in hermes Singapore since last year, and have spent the quota amount and apparently my SA has mentioned that my wishlist is in the system. However, I really do not have chemistry with this SA. Is it advisable to switch to another SA in the same store in Singapore, to start on my journey for the second bag. I'm still queueing for the first bag. I haven't received any quota bags to date. Hoping for a reply. Would really appreciate your thoughts on this. Thank you.
