Personally, I won’t ever get from reseller especially if it’s over retail. (For various reasons, but mostly because I don’t like that they take away chances from a genuine customer who won’t “flip” a bag) BUT if I ever find that I’m getting super stressed, frustrated or unhappy shopping at H, I would just stop. At the end of the day, it’s not that serious, a bag is a bag is a bag (even if it’s a Birkin!). I personally feel like no matter how far down the chain we are, if we really like the brand and what H has to offer… we’ll be offered a quota bag eventually. Only a matter of when!

So yah, if the wait or the shopping is making you unhappy definitely just get from reseller. The plus point is you can get exactly what you want, super quick!

I am still quite reluctant to get from resellers tbh and that's one of my reasons too. No intentions (maybe next time) and did not even ask about a B/K/C, started shopping at H because I genuinely like the craftsmanship, quality and enjoy the shopping experience. Maybe because I am still quite new to this and not familiar with the "system" but thank you for the advice!

Anyone went through the process of waiting for a twilly / rodeo? Not sure what's the waiting time like.

Thanks everyone for your input! I will love to make appt. Do you think they will assign a SA/appt to me if I call the shop. directly? Coz I do not know any SA.

You can try calling the boutique but most of the time it gets routed as they are busy and not available to take the calls. I called prior to my first visit, the lady from customer service told me to just drop by the boutique and was not open with helping to make an appointment. It could be just me being unlucky so wish you luck!

I asked and was told by the security guard that we can call Hermes Singapore hotline to make an appointment. But seems that it still depends on luck.

Just last week, I wanted to get this key ring that was only available at MBS so I asked to make an appointment. They took my contact number then someone from the boutique called me back. Probably pulled out my profile since he knew my name which I did not mention when I called, requested to make an appointment again and got brushed off. Had to queue when I reached but luckily it was only for about 15 minutes. Lost interest shopping there.

That sounds terrible. There’s a lot of trial and error when finding an SA. I myself have met a few not so nice ones. Finally, I manage to know one good SA at each store let me know if you need one. I’m happy to share
