Hi guys,
need some help. if anyone have return or exchange their kelly or birkin in singapore?
I just bought the k28 today as i was too excited and overwhelmed, then i reached home to realize i want a k25 more.
What can i do now?

Hi enchantedmel, did you manage to do a return? I know in the states, they do allowed returns. just not sure if its the same locally.

Hi all, just wanted to check. After we give our wishlist to our SA do you usually just wait for them to contact you or will you follow up to check if the request has been approved? My situation is abit unique cos she miscalculated and said I’m short by abit $200-$300 and said she will try for me but if the item i’m waiting for arrived and I cash out then the chances are higher. She didn’t specifically tell me it’s $200-300 but it’s the item i’m waiting for is that amount.

I've never once had to follow up with my SA so far, she has been very prompt in updating me when the stocks are received! and when I pick up things in store she also assures me that she has ordered for me (without my asking) and that once they reach a piece would be allocated to me!

$200 - $300 is not alot, I would have thought they would not be so calculating and just let it go if it is just $200 - $300, cos that's really quite negligible? Is the item quite a hard to get item?

I think if it's me if my SA tells me i'm just a bit short, to speed up the process I would just spend a bit higher to hit the amount so that I don't have to keep wondering if I've hit and it's kind of an insecure process.... like 1 - 1.5k? Did she give you an ETA for the item arrival? Is it a scarf ring btw?

Hi, sorry was probably not clear. What I meant is wishlist for quota bag. I have already placed order for a couple of other items like household items but based on what was mentioned those usually take a couple of months. I also requested for a scarf ring and she did say the scarf ring should arrive sooner but have not heard from her for that as well. So i’m wondering if she has placed a request for my quota bag or if i should just wait for her to contact me

If it is B/K/C then I don't know as I've not reached the quota yet!
maybe other more experienced people can help!

I'm also on the waiting list for a scarf ring right now though! Wondering if it is the same as yours cos as you mentioned $200 - $300 and I guessed it right! Maybe we can share when they tell us it has arrived and see if it is the same time... as I picked up gold Orans on Monday and I realized alot of people picked up gold orans too (on grey sellers and on IG) so it seems like the stock arrives at the same time. I don't know though, it's just a guess!

Actually it is because it is super high that I decided to build a profile. I have always, always thought that I would just buy off resellers as I cannot imagine myself building such profile with Hermes. But since last year it has really gotten too high.
This is the same right now all around the world and especially Asia! it is very high
I do not know if it would go higher, but right now after I have started a profile, I do worry if they might go lower (after travel resumes) because I do think it might go lower once travel is allowed to resume as it is alot easier getting from overseas.

I got the worry it goes lower and then I would have spent the effort and money building profile for not much reason if the reseller premium goes down and my bag is actually not worth as much as I thought it would be building a relationship with it!

So I think the only chance it can go down is when travel resumes and when factories can keep up normal pace in production without covid stoppages but in the meantime it should still be where it is now, which is an all time high

So far I’ve only bought a pair of Orans and I’m thinking about building a profile but the items in store seem to be limited. If I see something online that catches my eye, how do I make sure that buying it doesn’t offend my SA/hurt my profile? I’ve read that some will ask their SA to order for them but I’m not sure if it’s the same in Singapore.

Yes, I wonder about SA ordering online/ other stores for us too. Saw a RTW I like still available in US website, but my SA said cannot transfer, even if I'm willing to pay deposit. But the items in store really limited.. Guess it will be a long wait for my profile to be ready for a birkin.. =(

I hope that our SAs will not be offended if they see us making purchases online, at the end of the day we try our best to give our business to them (hey, it helps with our profiles and most of us prefer the store experience anyway so why would we place our orders online if we can get them in store), I've read that in other countries their SAs would be fine to order online for them but it doesn't seem to be the case here in Singapore. It also appears that each store operates independently and they do not share the same inventory/warehouse with online and other stores. That said, H is a different kind of game and who knows if it will actually hurt our profiles if they see us making online purchases! If any ladies have insight to this please do share so we can make our purchases wisely!

It definitely doesn;t hurt your profile at all to be making any spending online
It just does not count into your spending profile at all

If your ultimate aim is to get a quota bag, I don't think it is very realistic to be looking at US website stock (their stock is so much more comprehensive and stuff), and even for the HK website, I also do see some past season popular items still in stock in HK

But in sg if the season is past it won't come in anymore, to me it's really no point pining for these items that are already past season, not coming in and cannot be gotten. It would be more realistic to get things you like that are also classic items that are evergreen and available all round all the time, otherwise if keep insisting on getting past season items that are out of stock and would not be replenished, you would really never hit the spending quota.

Like for me whatever I tell my SA that I want - twillies past season or tee shirt if she says past season, I just move on and don't think about it already and just get other stuffs

There will be better newer upcoming stuffs for sure, I don't keep pining on past season stuff.
Unless if you really really really like it, then get it off the resale market

But i do not think I'll ever really like something that is off season (that is not a bag) that much that I would look for in resale market
I'll just look out for upcoming launches, there will be something else you like and eye at for sure!

Hi all,

I’m a newbie who just started my profile. Had a pleasant experience with a SA during my first visit at the Taka store. Having some questions in my mind after the visit and hope you veterans can enlighten me. Thanks in advance!

1) The SA gave me her namecard but she didn’t leave her direct contact on it, so does it mean that she’s not interested in building a relationship with me?

2) If I need to do an exchange for an item, do I have to approach the same SA for the exchange?

3) Understand that I need to spend a certain amount before I can get a quota bag, is time taken to hit the amount a crucial factor too? As in do I need to spend $xxx in xxx time, in order to get a quota bag or I can slowly take my time to accumulate my spending?

My 2 cents is perhaps go in a few more times and see how you click. If you for example, ask for something which isn't in yet, perhaps as she gets to know you better, she will offer her contact to let you know when it arrives. I would suggest you let things progress naturally. You could also ask politely if you could have her contact so that you can arrange to go in only when she's on? I think it's a matter of both of you being comfortable with each other.
If all is well I would suggest you do all transactions with the same SA. Never hurts to also nod and smile at her colleagues (and SM), but after a while they will know whose client you are.
You can take as long as you wish to hit the spend, the quota bag will also take that long to arrive. It's only fair.
Try to enjoy the process and not stress too much.

Thanks periogal28 for the great advice! Think I should really enjoy the process and not stress myself out too much. Can’t help feeling excited and cautious at the same time as I embarked this new journey.
