Wow, I’m so impressed with the work you put in and I’m glad you finally found the SA whom you can work with. Finding the right one is so important. One of my friend was initially shopping at MBS and even got a couple of quota bags there but she never really felt like she clicked well with the SA. She chanced upon a SA one day at Taka and he was very helpful even though he knew she had profile at MBS and the rest is history.

Hi!! i am very very new to Hermès and am very keen to start my journey next month after i’ve received my Taka card. could you please share the details of your SA with me? the last time i went to Taka, the lady who attended to my friend and I was quite unfriendly.... i’m not sure if it’s because i look young and she thinks i don’t have enough money to spend for a quota bag, which is definitely not true. i am ready to spend and ready to build a profile. the unpleasant experience has put me off from Hermès for a while but i would really want to get started on my H journey. i am dying for a kelly mini II or a birkin 25

i believe the culture in most of the Hermes SA is like that.. me too experience some very superficial service at Hermes Liat (when i spend a few $k each time) until i drop 5 digits at one go on fine jewelry and even after i do that, the SA still doesnt reply messages sometimes. So i guess, the only way to establish a strong relationship is through time and spending big often.

to add on,

i realize that H SA really dont treat you like how Dior/ Cartier, LV and other high end boutiques like. so its better to go in with no expectations than to enter expecting to be treated well. Which i totally understand because they deal with really big spenders on a daily basis.

Nowadays, name card without personal handphone number and calling the Store number on the card will direct you to the H Call center. When i met my SA in Taka, she directly gave his number and told me to whatsapp her so that she can save my number. From then on we had a good communication and also i order on whatsapp and just pick up my orders on store, saves time for me and her, easy transaction. You can try to visit her everytime you are getting an item, it will leave an impression whenever you specifically requests to see her.

You can approach the same SA for the exchange however, if the exchange item is not on the same store, say you saw an item at MBS, then it is easier to exchange on the store you saw the item you liked more. As we all know stocks are low and transfer of items between stores may need approval. I did once exchange a bag i bought in Taka, and exchanged it in Liat, no questions, but i did messaged my SA to inform her and also she did acknowledge that they dont have that particular bag in Taka so i can go ahead and exchange at Liat.

As for the spend, dont stress yourself. Even if you hit the minimum spend say in 3 months it still does not guarantee you will be offered a quota bag. Relationship takes time, as the others say, enjoy the journey, but if you really in a rush for that quota bag, rather spending on items you dont love, just to hit the spend, i rather buy it on the open market, there are new Quota bags everyday on Instagram 2021 Stamp with local receipt too! (reputable ones i guess) but of course there will be no other experience than getting your beloved quota bag in store!
hi

may i know how long you took or estimate how much you spend for your SA to be able to order on whatsapp? i am rather unfortunate that my SA is quite senior and she doesnt seem to respond when i ask if theres a certain item or try to order on whatsapp

Hi, my SA is quite senior (it took me 2 transactions in store for her to give her Whatsapp Number) i dont usually spend much but whenever i order thru whatsapp, i give all the details, Leather, Hardware and size. My orders are quite mixed, shoes, bags, accesories. So it is quite spread out and i just order one item at a time (so for accesories it will be less spending). And of course i make sure once it is available i go to shop and take it. My SA also informs me which combinations will come first so she gives me idea of do i want to take the combinations arriving early or stick to my request.

As some of my friends do message SA, but often they dont get the items they requested. So maybe SA doesnt want to book an item under her and customer name if ther are not sure buyer..

Maybe just try to message ur SA, see how it goes, be patient, i was patient too but maybe they are just busy?

Hope you can fine a friendly suitable SA that you can order easily :)

I also believe getting a good SA is by luck. I’ve been buying here and there from MBS for a few years, maybe three purchases in that span. I never had a fixed SA. I would just go in and buy what I want.

Then this year, I decided I wanted a birkin so I went in hoping to find an SA I can click with. By luck, when I went in to buy a dress and a pair of sandals I met my current SA. she was the one who brought up the quota bag and told me to continue accumulating my spend. I then asked her for her number and she gave it to me. So far, I’ve purchased with her an additional 3 times and each time, the service has been excellent.

I would go in a few more times to the store and request the SA and see if you can click with them otherwise you can always see if there are other SA’s you click with. I think the spend is by store profile and not attached to an SA (I could be wrong tho!)

Hello! I just registered to purseforum but have been stalking for years! I’ve just started buying from Hermes Taka for 2-3 years and only got to know my SA in 2019. Before her, I didn’t have -any SA cos I was new to the Hermes game. But I realised that she is always too busy for me, even when I have texted her to make an appointment with her. She would asked her friend to tend to me instead. Honestly I have gotten some of the popular bags from walk-in (eg a black ghw Lindy26) without the help of the SA. When I got my fine jewellery, I was also served by her friend despite telling her in advance that I’ll be visiting the store at a specific time. I’ve accumulated almost enough to request for a bag so I’m starting to think if I should change a SA who might be more attentive to me? Any advice if I should stick to my current SA or recommendation for a more attentive SA? TYIA!
Hi since you are spending so much money, get an SA that you get along with. It makes the whole experience so much more pleasurable.

hello ladies! is it a new thing for the SA to now collect deposit for small items, such as earrings from FJ, oasis sandals, mini kelly bracelet? my SA at MBS says that the stocks are so little and goes out so fast, it is now better to put in deposit for the item that I want, so that once the item comes, it will be allocated to me immediately. it didn't used to be like that though, so I am wondering what has changed.

Hi, I'm new to this community and I have just started my journey with H as I also hope to get a B30 or K28 this year :)

I agree on finding an SA you can click with; I met my SA at MBS too and the SA was much friendlier and forthcoming than the SAs I met at Taka (even though Taka was a more convenient location). To share a bit of my journey, I went in as a walk-in and my SA offered me his number to communicate directly with him on subsequent purchases. In total I purchased 2x times and each time, the service was great and he remembered my non-quota bag wishlist of the 24/24.

In less than a month, he messaged me 3 variations of the 24/24 29 for my interest and reserved a beautiful multicolour 24/24 for me. I also had an option of the black with ghw 24/24 but decided on the multicolour as the structure of the bag was more suited for a fun and vibrant colour combination!

I hope to be able to order more items through my SA as I'm on a lookout for some accessories and homeware items.

That’s really great. I think a good SA who keeps you in mind is important for an enjoyable journey.

I haven’t experienced that actually. My SA told me not to place a deposit cause not sure if the stocks will come. But I did do it for fine jewellery as it was ordered (placed 50% in December and still waiting)

Has anyone tried to hang their 90cm scarves with the scarf hanging system? Would like to display my scarves and am deciding between their scarf hanging system (for interchangeability) or framing them up (am ok with this option too if it protects the silk better). Please share your thoughts for those who have tried either methods! Thank you :)
