Hi all,

I’m a newbie who just started my profile. Had a pleasant experience with a SA during my first visit at the Taka store. Having some questions in my mind after the visit and hope you veterans can enlighten me. Thanks in advance!

1) The SA gave me her namecard but she didn’t leave her direct contact on it, so does it mean that she’s not interested in building a relationship with me?

2) If I need to do an exchange for an item, do I have to approach the same SA for the exchange?

3) Understand that I need to spend a certain amount before I can get a quota bag, is time taken to hit the amount a crucial factor too? As in do I need to spend $xxx in xxx time, in order to get a quota bag or I can slowly take my time to accumulate my spending?

Nowadays, name card without personal handphone number and calling the Store number on the card will direct you to the H Call center. When i met my SA in Taka, she directly gave his number and told me to whatsapp her so that she can save my number. From then on we had a good communication and also i order on whatsapp and just pick up my orders on store, saves time for me and her, easy transaction. You can try to visit her everytime you are getting an item, it will leave an impression whenever you specifically requests to see her.

You can approach the same SA for the exchange however, if the exchange item is not on the same store, say you saw an item at MBS, then it is easier to exchange on the store you saw the item you liked more. As we all know stocks are low and transfer of items between stores may need approval. I did once exchange a bag i bought in Taka, and exchanged it in Liat, no questions, but i did messaged my SA to inform her and also she did acknowledge that they dont have that particular bag in Taka so i can go ahead and exchange at Liat.

As for the spend, dont stress yourself. Even if you hit the minimum spend say in 3 months it still does not guarantee you will be offered a quota bag. Relationship takes time, as the others say, enjoy the journey, but if you really in a rush for that quota bag, rather spending on items you dont love, just to hit the spend, i rather buy it on the open market, there are new Quota bags everyday on Instagram 2021 Stamp with local receipt too! (reputable ones i guess) but of course there will be no other experience than getting your beloved quota bag in store! :)

Hello!
For question 3, I think it depends (as always with all things H ). Heard of some people saying that $xxx must be within a year (plus minus a few months) but some mention that there’s no “time limit”.

Best to check in with your SA (the one you decide to work with long term) and she will be able to advise you

Thanks! Will keep it in mind, think the first and most important step for me now is to find a SA that I can build my profile with.

Thank you! I'll do that then
I'm really new to buying fm Hermes store but I've bought a few fm luxlexicon and I really love the service offered:smile:
I really do like the hermes plates and teapot and Im thinking of getting them for my tea ceremony! and my MIL is thinking of getting me jewellery for the wedding so I'm thinking of getting all fm hermes since its inauspicious to get these second hand.
I'll be glad if anyone can give me advice on what to get ( home ware and jewellery). Jewellery budget is ard max 3k/ item
Also does anyone have a nice SA in taka to recommend to me ? thk you!!

I was just looking at the tableware section on the H site for some plates and teapot for my tea ceremony too! I really like the Deco H design, I wish it were available in other colors...

Not sure if this thread is the right place to post my question. Pls remove if not.

for ladies with Birkin, may I know how practical is this bag. Do you carry the bag when you go long hours of shopping? If so, wouldn’t it be troublesome since you can’t go hands free to browse things.

I prefer this style to the Kelly but I wouldn’t want a bag that is not practical.

thoughts pls. Thank you!

Oh yes I really would love to hear feedback on this. I have friends who swear by the Birkin saying that it looks so much better than the Kelly. Would really love to hear opinion on the usage of the Birkin.

Hi, how do we know whether our SA gets the commission for the items we bought, how to tell from the receipt? I was late for my appointment, supposed to pick up a item I reserve, my SA was tied up with a customer and got her SM to serve me... I feel really bad, and hope that my SA gets at least the commission for the item I reserve. Although I also bought another item, and wonder whether the SM or the SA gets the commission... This is only my second visit, so I am not sure is it too forward if i text to ask my SA? Also, purchases towards our profile are tied to store and not SA, ya?

Both have their pros and cons. I have both and I’m more of a Birkin girl only because I prefer the open tote style of a B. I don’t put much in my bags so weight wise its ok when it comes to long hours of shopping. But I agree it does mean only one hand is free to browse. The other problem is washing hands in public toilets and having nowhere clean to put the bag down and trying to not get water on the bag. The other minor issue I have is with a B25, the handles are a bit smaller and if I wear bracelets I find it more difficult to manoeuvre it in and out of my arms. Despite all these I still prefer the look of a B. I know this season H will be launching a saddle for Birkins which will allow it to be carried on shoulder. I don’t like the look and don’t intend to get it but this could be an option of some of you. Kelly on the other hand hand offers the versatility of carrying on arm and shoulder but I don’t like having to open and close the bag all the time. I also find that because of the closure, K is a bit less spacious and I can’t stuff things into it as I can with a same size B. At the end of the day it’s all about personal preference and what suits your lifestyle and habit.

thank you for the detailed reply! It is very helpful! Forgot about the washing hands part - it is so true!

Hello guys, here is some little update. Sadly my sa said that they cant do an exchange for kelly and birkin.
I have 2 options now which to to keep the k28 or go the reseller top up $3k to get a brand new k25. =(

the K28 really doesn’t work for you? If it doesn’t, see if the reseller has what you want in k25. I personally feel it’s always best to not settle for something which your heart doesn’t truly desire. If the size is what you want and you don’t mind paying 3k additional, then go for it! At least you’ll wear the bag out with joy.
