Hi! how do i put a deposit for the ktg? I do not mind placing deposit for it, but I just went again today, and my SA assured me she really does know I am looking for the KTG and that if she comes by it she would definitely think of me!
But she still did not ask me to place deposit, and she also told me she is unable to view this kind of popular items (when it is coming)

It means if they get mini E for me, I would only be able to get 1 this year from the store (I don't know if this is across 3 stores or not, but I don't think it matters, cos only the store that has a relationship with you would help you get it so it is not relevant unless you have ongoing relationships in all 3 stores)

same goes for bags like mini lindy, garden party, picotin, herbag I believe

This rule is quite well known because I see people on IG mentioning about it too, hermes is pretty fair in their allocation so if you get for eg. picotin they would not allocate another one to you agin in the same year when there are still other customers in the list who have not even gotten that bag at all before yet.

but there is no restriction online, meaning that if I got mini E from the store and I see mini E again online, I can still buy it online if I still have quota for online purchases.

(because online there is also a quota, btw. it is capped at 2 bags (any 2) in a year. when you have purchased 2 from their website, you would only be able to purchase another one at least 6 months after the purchase. Personally tried and tested this before. If you have passed the quota, they would cancel your order and the bag would be re-released back to the website. This only applies for bags only, so for online website quota also you might want to use wisely too...

Agree.. My fine jewelry arrived earlier than expected. SA also told me may take up to 6 months but as there was stock within the region, it took only 4 weeks. However for my homeware, it really took 4 months. I placed my order on first week Dec and my homeware arrived on first week March.

From my understanding, deposits (even if paid in full) will not go towards your spend history (for quota bag) until item arrived.

Guess it’s fair enough not to count until item arrived. Good thing I’m not in a rush to get a quota bag...

Another question, I have quite a specific list for bags that I want. Can anyone share how they have dealt with declining a B/k/c? Did it make things awkward with your SA?

The other question I want to ask is, ok for eg, you spent (for example only ya) 17k
so your SA takes your list of B or K or C to wait for the B/K/C to arrive
so we know this one can vary - it can be right away all the way to 3 months or even 9 months if lets say you are very particular about the kind of bag colour or hardware you want,
so my question is, you have already spent 17k - then entitled for the quota bag, but while waiting, for eg. in the 3 months, 6 months
when you are spending during this transition period, is the spending after the 17k automatically go into qualifying spending for next bag or it is not counted?

Because my friend told me it is not sure if it is counted to the next bag....

i dont think you can place a deposit for KTG cause the allocation of KTG / CTG is also subject to the SM approval when it arrives

Ya, that’s what my SA said. That it will be best to wait till you get the quota bag then start spending again. And after you get the quota bag the next one should be after 5 months

Just to clarify, I mentioned on my earlier post that I placed deposit for Kelly Long Wallet and not KTG. ;)

I planned to add leather strap and “ZNG” the wallet into KTG by myself. LOL (Saves myself $1000+ ;) )

Just chairs, side tables, plates, trays, cups, necklace, pendant, ring etc.. Hope this helps. :smile:
