Hi!!! Could anybody recommend re-colouring / re-dying service for Hermes leather bag in SG? Preferably those who had already great and satisfying experience with them :-) Recently there are so many of them that it's just hard to choose or take the risk haha

I'm thinking of re-dying my Victoria (currently mix of canvas & Rouge H leather) to black (so it's rather easy and not so complicated I think). The bag itself is in good condition so no repair work is needed.

Thanks so much & have a great week ahead!

Hello, has any of your SAs told you that all local boutiques are out of stock and to purchase online directly? I'm not too keen to do this as 1) I read that online purchases do not count towards my purchase history and 2) I will not earn the 6% rebate on my taka card. Should I buy online like my SA told me to do or wait for it to be available in store? Or change SA altogether haha. Any advice is appreciated!

Bastia but the colour I want was not available when I last visited the boutique. I asked her over text again and she told me to buy online. I plan to get other items along with the bastia (if it was available and I can make an appointment) but now I feel a bit turned away and am not sure if I should continue to ask her to check availability for the other items I want (cologne, shawl, non-quota bag) :/

Hmmm, I just went for my appointment today. I told my SA there are some items I want that is available online and check if it is available in store. She said in store no stock but put my details down for those items and will let me know when it is in store. She told me she was super busy the past few days though. So even after I texted her stuff that I want she could only have me input into the system when I went down for my appointment. Maybe you can text your SA the list of items you are looking at and she can let you know if you should go down for an appointment

Yes, she was assigned to me and when I walked in at Taka as I previously shopped at MBS (mistake! I did not know that purchase history one one boutique is independent of other boutiques!). Bought a couple of items from her then and trying to get more now. But maybe it's just a small SLG so she's not as willing to help me out...?

Okay sure I might try asking about the other items too and see what/how she replies. Just that I'm not sure if I should continue trying with her or look for another SA. It's hard to get the right sensing over text! She was civil when we first met but not overly helpful or enthusiastic.

Same here. If u read my previous post, initially I was served by a ASM then she passed my profile to another SA to serve me everytime I’m there. The feeling I had initially was both were not keen to build a relationship with me. However, I just kept messaging the new SA what I would like to get and went down a few times (once every 2 weeks) to get the stuff I want and things got better. Now she remembers me and offer to put in wishlist for me. Although over WhatsApp sometimes she sounded cold but when we met up she was very friendly and apologetic when she doesn’t respond to my messages. Think it will need sometime to build a relationship with them and for them to remember us

Maybe she thought you were in a rush to get it & it's available online now? Is

I do think that having good vibes with your SA is important though... maybe try to look for another SA? You shouldn't have to 'earn' being treated nicely by buying stuff first. Afterall, you're the customer!

I’m just at taka outlet and asked about the bastian, they say have stock but I didn’t know what’s the colour you want. It seems to me Liat tower seems to have the most stock because they had the kelly medium wallet when I went just now, and in several colours too. But the taka outlet doesn’t have at all, only in ostrich and croc, and I’m holding out because only taka has the rebates and the amount is not small, though. Also I got a name card from an SA in Liat already, but I have still not gotten any name card from any SA in Taka. I’m still looking around and wondering where I want to base a relationship on (if any)

Inventory is generally quite low at Taka at the moment. I was there over the weekend and asked for a pair of twillies. None of the stores has it but there were several available online. I figured I don‘t love it enough to buy online so gave it a miss. A bracelet I was after was also not available but my SA managed to get it transferred from another store. So this is one option available. But it’s subject to the other store willingness to transfer. Another option is to ask SA to check if the store will be receiving inventory for the item. If so, SA could put your name down for it and notify you when it’s in. Do note that sometimes the inventory status may change at the whim of Paris. Last option is to ask your SA to do a global search. But you will have to put down a 50% deposit before a search could be done. If the search yields no results, you can use the deposit to offset against future purchase.
of course one can always purchase from another store or online but I guess most people prefer to consolidate purchases in one store to get enough profile for a B/K sooner :)
