Hi, I'm back from the private sale. Just wanted to share some observations with whoever's interested.
1) Overall there are more stocks available across all categories, compared to last year.
2) However, the turnout was also WAY MORE than last year's. I waited a good 50 minutes (!!!) just to make payment. More on that later...
3) There were silks in 90cm, 70cm, 55cm. 45cm and Twilly. If my memory serves me correctly, they are mainly from FW2023. Expect around 2 to 3 cw of each design. No CSGM. Not sure if they are sold out or just unavailable this year.
4) There's a decent selection of both men's and women's RTW.
5) No belts.
6) Other stuff available: caps, gloves, fashion jewellery (enamel bracelets, picnic earrings, leather bracelets). Also saw some scarf/ Twilly rings.
6) Many shoes designs available at all sizes. Good mix of sandals, sneakers and some boots. The discount is 50% off the price shown on the tag. BUT only 30% off for Oran, Oasis and Izmir.

Back to the loooong wait for payment....
Possible reasons:
-the sheer number of invitees this year (??)
-insufficient POS machines
-Indecisive shoppers. If you need help with your shoe/ RTW size, it's best to ask the staff at the respective section while you're there. Don't wait until you are already standing in front of the cashier then start debating about the correct size to buy/ ask the cashier for advice

Make full use of your time and prioritize the section that you are interested in. If you are after RTW, go to that section first. Don't be distracted by the other sections. Because you will need time to find your size and try things on. You can always circle back if you have time later on.

Have fun and thanks for reading ;)

Hello! Thanks everyone for all the discussion and helpful responses re the private sale.

Hope those who went got some nice stuff or at least enjoyed their experience!

I’m really glad I went today. Ended up with a nice RTW haul. Really quite a lot of variety from 24 and even 23. No queue for fitting rooms when I went and a straight 50% off all things sans some popular shoes felt like a great deal. Pity a lot there weren’t a lot of shoes left in my size.

I thought I could clear the space in 45 mins but RTW and shoes alone took me 2 hours 😂 SA was telling me to queue up while I was still trying stuff on. Had no time to hit silks or FJ but secretly happy I skipped FJ because it was a bit of a circus.

Overheard someone in front of me asking about whether it affects PS and cashier implicitly said no I think - she said it reflects on your purchase history but won’t be tagged to a store.

As an RTW enjoyer I’m seriously hoping I get an invite next year because theres stuff from SS25 that I didn’t manage to get 🤪

Ya agree with the wait times at cashier. I was there for over 30 mins. From my observations it looked like people were waiting for the FJ to be brought to the till and/or people STILL TRYING STUFF ON and making last minute decisions at the cashier 😂😂😂

For the private sale, do we need to all get out by the end of the time slot? Or do we just need to enter 30 minutes within the time slot? Saw in some countries people could stay for three to four hours once they were in
All will have to get out from the shopping area by the end of the time slot. Ok to be at the payment area. They will remind about 10 mins before the end of time slot that fitting rooms will be closed etc.
