Kristine - I tried on a 34cm Lindy and I feel that the base is just too wide for my liking. Because it sticks out from your body so much, it makes carrying the bag uncomfortable (if I were only going to use the bag for say, shopping or merely going out). Personally, I would pick the 34 only IF I was using it for travelling (I don't know how to travel light) or if I carry a lot of things on a daily basis that cannot fit into a 30.

Have you looked at the bags IRL and tried both sizes on? See which one fits your lifestyle better - and can hold all your daily necessities. :yes:

Ive been wanting a messenger bag for a long time. It seems the right time as im going for a holiday soon. :)
And SO refuse to go into H with me. He says the SA intimidates him. :sweatdrop:
So i had to ask the ladies here..

Pyrexia: A 30cm Lindy will be just nice for me as I want an everyday bag to work and shopping etc esp with my 2 boys in tow. Reason for my asking was I could not decide whether to get the pre-loved 30cm Orange Lindy or the brand new 34 Orange Lindy from the H boutique. I've never bought a pre-loved bag before...

I was reading the "How does one get a Birkin" thread and it is rather disheartening to know that it is near to impossible to get a Birkin in SG. What are the alternatives if one does not know of any regulars/VIP?? (which is the situation I am in...).

Besides the Lindy...I am keen on getting a Birkin Gold.

KL, look up all the resellers online. Aside from luxury-zurich, there are others like kaleidoplace, let-trade, the luxury-portal, portero. I thought I saw one at kaleidoplace but it could be sold already. If you check everyday and keep on the lookout for updates, you are bound to find your dream bag :tup:

:tup: And the difference you save from buying from FSH would pay for your airfare (economy) and probably hotel as well. Buy a croc bag and the savings would pay for a business class airfare!

Why can't you get a brand new 30 cm Lindy from the H boutique? Why only 34 cm? :confused1:

SQ's promotion fare is now S$1,208 nett to Paris!! Having said that, I think there's still an element of luck whether you can find the exact bag you want there.
