Kristine, there was a 30cm Bleu de Prusse lindy on the shelf on Wed. Maybe you can ask to see that one, play around with it a bit, and then ask the SA for one of your preferred colors? It helps to break the ice with something already sitting on the shelf.

Pysrexia, thanks so much for the intel. I will drop by one of these days to enquire and I must do it quick. As I was browsing through the forum, one TPFer revealed her recent Lindy in BDP and the color is truly gorgeous.

What I am afraid of is not able to decide on the color. I wonder how anyone can make that difficult decision when all the colors are so beautiful. I would like to have a Lindy in every color of the rainbow!!

It is even more gorgeous in person
H has this horrible way of making you love things that you normally would not love. I am not a green/blue person, but I recently told my SA I am looking for a small leather accessory in vert anis and her jaw dropped. So much for restraint :faint::sweatdrop:

Thanks to all the ladies who responded...
I may just walk in one of these days to enquire about the Lindy. Hopefully they have either one of the colors I am inclined to - Orange or Raisin.

I don't know if you might be interested in a pre-owned, but luxury-shops has one in orange just listed. Its swift and in excellent condition, almost new! :p And for the price, I think its a pretty good deal

Questions about sending Bags back to H(SGD) for repair.

I have a JPG i got recently. Brand new. I have used it less than 5times. I noticed the sealant on the base of the handles are "coming off". Thus the leather is puffing up. The Opening(at the top) sealants are not covering the leather properly too. So my question is. What are the procedure for sending bags in for repair?
Thanks chpwhy:smile1:

^^^ Just bring it in to Liat Towers. If the craftsman is in, he might take a look on the spot, if not, you may just leave it there for him to take a look later. If there are charges, they will call you and tell you before proceeding.

If you got it from the store, which I am assuming as you said you got it brand new, I will expect them to fix it for free as this is not acceptable. I've never heard of this happening before! Since the wax is coming off, are your fingers, hands and clothes stained with the coloured wax? Be careful!

Just bring it in to your SA, and be very nice and ask for it to be repaired. If you got it at Taka, they will bring the bag over to Liat for you.

And you might as well ask them a few questions why this would happen, I am very interested to know.

Do you have pics of this?
I think it's appalling that brand new bags are coming apart like that...
