Be patient and continue to develop a good relationship with your SA. 20k vs 16k is not that long a way. Your sa is trying to manage your expectations. Your QB will come, and that day will be sweet
+1

We know it could be frustrating sometimes. We have different “journey” so to say so circumstances could vary. But just be patient and trust your SA.

Edited to add: l guess you can already summarize the conclusion to your question - most likely your sa hasn’t put in your request, so she wouldn’t be able to tell you if it’s approved or not
Thank you ladies for your advice! Loving the community here and hopefully I’ll be able to share the good news here soon :)

I see! I thought your SA will let you know whether you’re approved or not. My SA knows what color I’m looking for but hasn’t told me whether my profile has been approved for a qb so I’m not sure whether I’m in the queue yet.
U need to be aware that diff shop work differently.

I was told that “approved” means approved to q in 1 shop but “approved” would mean the SA can call up for the client to come collect the Qb in another shop. That was last year I heard.

By now we know that different boutiques have some variations in practice and even among SAs there are differences. It also depends on the client's profile. There is no standard formulae applied.

As many of our fellow members shared earlier, enjoy the journey. Communicate with your SA when you are in store, buy what you love, appreciate the quality of their items. The bag will come. Cheers!

Wow this is confusing
The responses here may not give you a definite answer but our experiences will at least give you an idea of how it works, the current “rules” situation which could manage your expectations and at least have an idea where your SA is coming from. Bottomline, whatever we share here are based from our own experiences and when in doubt just ask your SA and trust him/her.

Singapore is a bit weird when it comes to QB. I computed my recent purchase in one trip and could have been 1:1 for a regular QB, and what I was offered was a non-qouta mini bag. sad!
Its quite the norm now actually and this has been happening in various countries as well. It only shows that its not that easy to get a qb in SG due to several factors such as higher prespend, low stock, tough competition etc.
