The average waiting time for b/k now is 8 to 12 months and could be longer depending on specs. If im not mistaken, kelly pochette hardly comes in SG shores than b/k so wait times could be very much longer. A member mentioned here that those asking for kp were offered mini k instead because no stocks. But a member also mentioned that as per her SM that stocks are improving and wait times could be shorter now. If you really like kp and dont mind long wait, you should tell your SA.

I think it's best to continue to wait - I bought a Danse instead of the Pochette a couple of years back as well. Huge regret as it's not the same look or utility. Best to wait it out. :yes:

I wish they offer me a MK as a substitute and I am willing to make the switch, but my SA also said the pre-spend for each is different, subtly hinting I may need to spend more to qualify for the MK whereas for the danse, I can maintain status-quo and wait for it to arrive.

It would still be based on each one’s profile and SA etc. If you really want a kp, waiting is best IMO. Please dont settle with the danse if you’re half hearted. And if you wish to opt for the mini k instead, best to talk to your SA on how do you proceed but if you choose the latter, its additional spending and waiting.

I think a KP wait time is going to be extremely long and some clients might be discouraged because firstly a KP is ordered under the Kelly quota and the SMs might not order these as much as the very much requested MK or Danse. Secondly unless they are unusual specs, they are not going to arrive as an unexpected push offer. One way to obtain one with more certainty was to order it via SO when it was offered a few years back.

Can I know how much is the “certain amount” and did your SA submit your profile for approval after that request?

Maybe wait another month, 3 months is borderline. And l agree with the others, 1:1 may still be applicable but spend a bit more if possible so your sa has some leeway. Usually they won’t tell you approved or not, they will ask you what bag do you want and your colour preference. I think the sa is smart enough to know what will be approved and what will not, so they will only help you request if most likely approved (in sg it’s numbers, not magic)

She doesn’t need to tell me anymore because like I mentioned earlier, we no longer communicate whether it is approved or not etc bec I know she’ll inform me in case not approved or prespend not enough. So if I didnt hear from her after that, I know its approved and Ill just wait for the bag to arrive. I will just message her again in case I am looking for something or want to buy something while waiting.

Demand for QBs is at an unprecedented high. Not surprising that average prespend is going up. I recall seeing the minimal prespend sum of $20k floating around on this thread since early last year, though some ladies have reported slightly lower numbers of around $19k. Required spend is also likely higher if you want smaller sizes (B/K 25) and/or popular colours.
