Maybe wait another month, 3 months is borderline. And l agree with the others, 1:1 may still be applicable but spend a bit more if possible so your sa has some leeway. Usually they won’t tell you approved or not, they will ask you what bag do you want and your colour preference. I think the sa is smart enough to know what will be approved and what will not, so they will only help you request if most likely approved (in sg it’s numbers, not magic)
I see! I thought your SA will let you know whether you’re approved or not. My SA knows what color I’m looking for but hasn’t told me whether my profile has been approved for a qb so I’m not sure whether I’m in the queue yet.

She doesn’t need to tell me anymore because like I mentioned earlier, we no longer communicate whether it is approved or not etc bec I know she’ll inform me in case not approved or prespend not enough. So if I didnt hear from her after that, I know its approved and I’ll just wait for the bag to arrive. I will just message her again in case I am looking for something or want to buy something while waiting.
Thanks for sharing! Sounds like your SA is very transparent with you :)

Ah l see what you are actually asking now. May l know the context of your conversation with your sa? What did you ask that made her say ‘not so soon’. And did you volunteer the specs you wanted or did she ask you?
Asking cause ‘not so soon’ can mean not so soon can request or not so sson can receive the bag, which are two entirely different things

Hello, can I check if your SA has to tell you that your profile has been approved for a quota bag in order to join the waiting game?

I’ve spent slightly over the price of a B/K and was told not so soon?
basically "not so soon" likely means not enough spend. I personally don't think it's the length of time as a client unless you accepted any leather bags (non quota) in this 3 months? if you did, then it probably means you need a cooling period.

once you have a conversation with SA that entails SA asking you what specs you are looking for and SA taking down notes, then very likely you can consider yourself in the queue already (and you can ask to confirm - first timer I think SA don't judge)

I haven’t gotten any bags in the recent 3 months, but I initiated the topic and told my SA what bag and specs I want during my previous visits.

i see. maybe rules have again changed in light of ever growing demand. it didn't use to be like this when i started in 2021...good to know!

I’ve heard it’s also to try to ascertain if a new client is a real client who likes the products, will use what they buy and wants to get a bag for their own use, or a reseller who will resell the pre-spend items and flip the bag for profit. My SA also told me when I started shopping last year that they want some time to get to know the clients better, and for clients to enjoy what they buy instead of rushing to hit spend to try to get bags faster. I don’t think it’s a foolproof solution to deter resellers, but it seems they are trying.

Be patient and continue to develop a good relationship with your SA. 20k vs 16k is not that long a way. Your sa is trying to manage your expectations. Your QB will come, and that day will be sweet
Edited to add: l guess you can already summarize the conclusion to your question - most likely your sa hasn’t put in your request, so she wouldn’t be able to tell you if it’s approved or not
