Thanks guys for schooling me on this Hermes journey… I guess the reason I haven’t stuck to one SA at one store is because they are just soooo hard to get ahold of via text. And I don’t really plan in advance when I’ll be shopping, I’ll just drop by as and when I like and am free, so the particular SA who served me before might not be there or she might be busy serving other customers. :(

So I’d also like to ask if non-QBs like the Evelyne and Garden Party can count towards pre-spend? Will getting these bags lengthen the time to eventually get offered a QB? Thanks! :)

non Quota bags like Evelyne GP, etc does not count towards prespend.
yes, getting any bag will lengthen the time to get the QB...in my own experience.

I’m a 2022 baby. My timeframe about the same as you and I ponder about whether I would get an answer if I had asked on WhatsApp.
I realised that my SA doesn't answer alot of my queries that were made through WhatsApp.... Increasingly so.
I conclude that either she genuinely didn't read the message, or she doesn't know the answer, or she doesn't want to overpromise/ give false hope so she would rather not reply me. Better to ask 'sensitive' questions in person I guess.

Thanks for sharing! I tried to ask my SA last month and my SA just told me not decided by SA. Typically around when do they start to invite clients?
I've never been invited but I have asked my SA about it. She said it's decided by the office. Those who buy a lot of RTW usually stand a better chance of getting an invitation. But I don't know what is the definition of 'a lot'.
I still remember 10+ years ago they would have some discounted RTW in the boutiques itself. And can just walk in and buy...

Thank you! I just started Hermes journey 2H last year and saw some old designs scarfs, shawls, twillys I like which I couldn’t find on Carousell. Hopefully I get invited this year.

I understand about getting sole protection for Orans sandals. Is there such a thing for sneakers too? As the sole is rubber and uneven/jagged (eg bouncing sneaker).
I don’t think that’s common - for eg I didn’t add any rubber soles for my Chypres.

The purpose of adding the rubber soles for me is to prevent slipping on smooth surfaces (I made the mistake once of wearing a pair of new shoes with smooth leather soles out and slipped so fast on the pavement that I landed on my behind!). You would be less likely to slip if the shoes already have rubber / uneven soles.
