I don't think it is for VIP either. I was offered a slot last year but I declined as they didn't offer the model I wanted. I thought it would be nice to customise my own watch that's different from the regular stock.
Will wait for the next round and see if I get a chance.
Likewise, am not vip but was offered at MBS and took the opportunity to customise a watch. But when I was at Taka, the SA told me time your way is only for “selected chosen clients” and every SA has a limited amount of invites only. Made it sound super exclusive lol.

No lah. Not really exclusive. I was told that Taka had an extension of timeline. So probably the take up rate not high.

Maybe because they requested for 100% deposit as they worry the watch might be delivered next year and there would be gst increase. So, asking customers to pay up front to avoid their own absorption of gst. Which also means, they will take their own sweet time to deliver pre orders as they used to. Just guessing.

I heard that the watch will be delivered by Oct/Nov and the deposit is 50%. Seems like they have different rules. :amazed:

Hi all! New to this forum. Wanted to check if any of you have any SAs to recommend? I want to start my Hermes journey, but every visit to the boutique in SG has been disappointing. The SAs that I've met are generally disinterested and customer service is bad. Would love to find an SA that is friendly and willing to help. Thanks in advance!

Wow, didn’t know Taka requested for 100% deposit. It did seem like she didn’t care to take me as a new client so whatever haha

Don’t take it personally. At taka, there r very many more customers than MBS. It also could be that each SA had limited slots and the SA u met didn’t have available one for you (doesn’t mean other SAs don’t have)

Suggest you continue walking into the 3 boutiques until you find an SA you click with. If you can, go at off peak timings/opening time on weekdays when it’s less busy and SAs are less stressed. Many members have previously shared in this thread that their SAs decline referrals of even family and friends of existing clients.

From my personal experience, the SAs at Liat I have interacted with while waiting for my SA have all been friendly and nice. I am a relatively new customer and not a big spender, so it’s definitely not out of any special consideration for me.

Good luck!

Friendly and nice customers are always welcomed by friendly and nice SAs. ;)

Yup agree! Found my SA by going on a weekday morning. I found the SAs at Liat and Taka so far to have been really nice and friendly in general

Hello! I will agree with the ladies here that it really take luck and patience to find one that you feel comfortable to work with. I'm just a few months old into this Hermes scene and my experience is that the SA typically are alittle colder during the first encounter. I made small purchase with the two SAs that I feel comfortable with and I noticed that their attitude change alot on my 2nd visit. That's just my experience

Echoing other members’ experiences here. When I started looking for “the one” so to speak, I walked in to purchase various items (bag, scarf, shoes, AS work, etc) and met with close to 10 different(?!) SAs until I found someone I clicked with. Each relationship is different and you may have chemistry with someone whom others didn’t get along with and vice versa.

During my appts with my SA, I sometimes see the SAs who were cold and disinterested (for lack of a better word) get along great with their clients so it’s really about finding the right one for you. He/she is out there!

I suggest not to get too carried away with the chemistry when choosing a H SA. The key thing is whether the SA can offer bags or not. I think if they can’t offer due too too many existing customers, then automatically they would be cold or not answering messages. Which SA wants another customer they can’t satisfy.

Of course, for those who don’t care too much about bags, please ignore me.

met my SA while i brought in an item for spa. I liked the interaction and she also bothered to spend time with me. Agreed that it helps to visit them on off-peak hours as they have more time. I left with a kelly belt on the first visit. On my 3rd visit, she also asked if there was any non qb bags i was looking for and she brought out what i listed.

Good luck in finding someone you click with! ◡̈ i guess being patient and nice also help since they probably have alot of client who wants bags too.
