yes I understand they are very busy. I know that there are certain categories like RTW which cannot be reserved even if they have stock (therefore I never bother to ask for stock status). But I can tell that her attitude has changed after I hit my pre-spend and qualified for QB. She is not as responsive nor attentive as before. Yes I have gone down for a random browse before. I actually saw one of my wishlist items on display. I had been waiting a few months for it. She didn't inform me there was stock. When I asked her 'isn't that what I was looking for,' she had this awkward silence. But I didn't make a fuss about it (what's the point right). In the end I didn't buy it as it was the display piece and not in perfect condition.
There were a few other incidents (don't get me started on the watch customization...). Overall, I take it to mean she is focusing on her new clients, or she does not want me to keep spending while waiting for QB (maybe doesn't want me to qualify for the next QB so soon?).
Hi, I’m sorry to hear what you have experienced  regarding watch customisation, I heard from a female Taka SA that they only offer to selected clients (aka vip or they think will be spending). Perhaps you have already hit quota so she didn’t offer you, or they only have selected slots per SA to offer so she offered to her other VIPs. Usually it’s common they don’t remember what their clients want / they don’t bother to check what’s in stock until someone asks in store and they go in to check, so just play it cool. But from your experience you don’t seem satisfied with your SA’s service. Maybe change SA / change a store? Nowadays wait can be long. At MBS, the waiting has been abysmal due to influx of tourists. I think Liat is the fastest.

Re watch customisation, the model I was eyeing was not offered last year so I didn't take the slot when she offered it to me. No point forcing myself to buy an expensive watch I don't like. Anyway it is too late now; gotta wait for the next round I guess.
I wished I had the luxury of time to drop by the store every other day to see what they have; but unfortunately being a regular working gal, I can only rely on my communication with her.
I've been waiting about 9 months for my bag and asked her for an update twice; I think that's reasonable? I was told to expect a 8-month wait, then this year she said to expect a 12-month wait. I really don't know anymore.
She used to remember what I requested for and reply me even if there was no stock. I think she is either overstretched or doesn't want me to spend too much before my bag arrives. Speaking of which, I will wait until I get my bag first before deciding whether to switch stores.

Hi Ladies, just wondering. The question might be asked before.
If i see something online. Should I ask my SA if the item is available in boutique or I cart it out online?
If I cart it online, how do I add it to my spending?
I would recommend requesting it from your SA from store stock first. Unfortunately unlike other countries, your SA in SG cannot do a online order through the store for you. If you order it directly, it goes on your Hermes online customer account, does not go on your store spend history and does not help you with any store bag offers anywhere worldwide. HTH!

just wondering if there is something different with watch customisation as I have never been to one as a newbie. Im just interested in the regular cod watch with gold strap

I did watch customisation this time around. I don’t think it’s for vip ( l’m def not) but it has limited slots. The duration was open for 2 weeks, ‘while slots last’. Only know there was heurre h, cap cod and ?arceau available for customization. U can choose the size, face and strap. The face had some unique designs which are not usually seen on ready to buy. I wanted mini 21mm heurre h but the smallest available was 25mm. Main advantage for me was can choose double tour strap, strap colour and can order extra strap. Deposit is 50%

Actually if you look at it from another POV, isn't it good that she doesn't expect you to spend more than your pre-spend amount while waiting for your QB? Haha. After I hit my pre-spend amount and am technically waiting for my QB, my SA will still continue to text me asking if I want this item or that item. Then I feel pressurized to spend more, even though she has clearly said that it will not be rolled over to the next QB. The items she shows me are also not what I've told her to look out for.

If you're really annoyed she's not updating you on your wishlist items, perhaps you can just show a hint of impatience the next time you drop by the store? Then perhaps she will get the hint that you still want to buy these items while waiting for your QB.

Thanks for sharing the information. So did you customise 25mm instead since 21mm is unavailable. May I know which outlet did you go to and when the event end? :P

I think this is something u kinda got to get used to. The stocks are limited and hence, SAs and SMs decide who they go to. U r kinda “trapped” as their customer since u r waiting for ur QB. The “baits” will have to go to someone else in order to help them build their profile and keep them in the game.

So just chill and get the stuff u want at other stores or in other countries.

I don't think it is for VIP either. I was offered a slot last year but I declined as they didn't offer the model I wanted. I thought it would be nice to customise my own watch that's different from the regular stock.
Will wait for the next round and see if I get a chance.

Yes I see your POV. And I agree about the pressure part.
The thing is, I explicitly asked her whether items bought while waiting for my bag can be counted towards the next bag. And she said 'Yes Of course'. Unless she is just saying that to earn my money???
Showing a hint of impatience... I don't think it will work on her haha. I'll just try to chill.
Btw, I shop at Taka. Perhaps other members who shop there can share what they know. TIA.

Is the model that u wanted being offered this year? I nvr really look at the women’s watch selection, bcos i specifically wanted an automatic watch. This is only offered in men’s watch. And as far as i could remember, the options pretty much the same (at least for men’s watch). Maybe that’s why ur SA didnt bother to check with u this year? The model u wanted still not there anyway.

They have this watch customisation thing every year, and twice a year l think, so don’t worry if you don’t get it this time around. It just so happens that l’m looking for some nice ‘birkin bait’ and jumped at this opportunity since l get to choose what l really like. It’s just another way for Hermes to earn our money, it’s not like we’re special or something if we get to buy their watches .
