For my 1st qb, I wished for gold ghw but got nata ghw instead

Yes. Gold on gold is one of the few Hermes permanent colors so they will always be arriving to the store. it’s just that it’s also an extremely popular choice so you are competing with way more people than most other colors so in Singapore it’s a matter of waiting your turn (after meeting the prespend required amount).

I'm so happy to hear!!!! You made so so motivated I was almost considering the easy way out (reseller route) cos I thought I won't be able to have my dream combo

To be clear, it isn’t a 100% guarantee and it will still cost you at least close to 2:1 in prespending and reasonably up to 2 years after that for fulfillment, but it’s not a “rare” bag.

I’m quite new too and still learning. It’s too beautiful so I didn’t reject and I am also unsure what will happen if I reject.

That’s good to know and thanks for sharing! Gold on gold is so beautiful. Now I know can reject and continue to wait.

As in they may potentially start queueing us for that colour only after spending maybe close to 2:1 (depends) and the wait could be up to 2yrs plus minus because of the popularity?

If you read through the last few months of this thread, you will find dozens of client experiences stating their SA told them they “qualified“ for a bag after prespending 1-2+:1 and then waited/were still waiting up to two years later. It seems very variable per client-SA relationship as well as specific bag requested and which exact store. So, yes, it seems like that is how it works in Singapore.

It also depends on how the SM orders at Podium. I am not sure about every store in SG but some SMs tell me they tend to order a lot of classic neutrals and Gold is highly requested. So maybe there's a higher prespend required. I know for example that one SM orders mainly Gold, Black, Etoupe for eg Mini Lindy, as that's what her clients want but the demand still outstrips the number of bags she can order.

For the non-qb in gold ghw I wanted, the SM only order 1. So I waited for close to 3 yrs for that one.
