Hi all,

I have been a silent follower on this forum for a while and recently decide to embark on my journey with H last year.

Hoping to get my first B or K eventually. Someone mentioned a few posts earlier that that the current price of a K25 is around $17000. Is a K28 / B25 / B30 also around that price range now?

Currently my pre-spend is close to 30k. However my SA has not mention anything so far about me hitting the pre-spend for a B or K.

Should I start checking with my SA in my next visit if I’m closing to hitting the pre-spend? Or should I continue on with my purchases and wait for my SA to bring it up?

Seems like it is no longer 1:1 anymore (at least for me).

Anyone in a similar situation as me?

Mention to your SA that you want a QB and assess from there.

You should not wait for the SA to bring it up. They don’t assume everybody wants a bkc (conveniently).
 
How do y’all store your Hermes CJ especially pop h or mini pop h so they do not tarnish? I used to store in original packaging but started storing them in jewellery box and I realise my mini pop h shows signs of tarnishing. Any cure? Thanks in advance!

I store all of my costume jewellery in the original boxes. No issue of tarnishing. There was tarnishing on some of the older pieces (more than 5 years old), so I sent them back to the store for polishing/ cleaning. I store my fine jewellery in a jewellery box though.

Thanks for sharing. Do they charge for the cleaning/polishing? I have 3 of them with same issue. Only the palladium ones are ok.

Try ziploc bags or air tight containers. They slow down oxidation for silvers and should work the same for CJ too

Are the SS23 cashmere shawls taking their time to appear? So far I have only seen Retour A La Nature and Mon Premier Galop in store. Or are there more that I have missed.

I saw one colourway each of Rayures d’Ete and Brides de Gala Applique pique in LT in early January. Recently got hold of the Retour a la nature colourway I wanted, my SA said they had just received it. I am not sure if the ones I didn’t ask for are taking their time to trickle in or came in and sold out quickly

Hi dear, does the store do cleaning/polishing for costume jewellery? I thought they don't, checked few years back and that is why I stopped buying CJs.

My first Hermes shopping was at boutique A but the SA wasnt too responsive though i have made two small purchase.
After 6 months and since it was my birthday, i walked into boutique B and got lucky in scoring a Picotin and manage to strike off a few wishlist item since it was available. I felt the SA was really sweet and she even gave me her number. Few days later i drop the SA at boutique B a message thanking her and also update her with my wishlist items. She said she will keep a lookout. I did text her my query on my sandals and also an item which I am keen to purchase and add into my wishlist. HOwever, it has been a month and I have not receive any response. Does it mean i have to move on again? :panic::panic: or should i probe the SA in boutique A?

I would reach out to the boutique B SA again if I were you. Have you followed up on your last text? My SA has told me to text again if I don’t get a reply after 3 days and there’s no out of office msg. SA may miss msgs as they have to respond to many clients and walk-ins. I only shop on weekdays at off peak hours and sometimes when I arrive my SA is still busy with the previous customer and when we are wrapping up my SA will be informed that their next client has arrived. Also, I don’t know what is on your wishlist but no update likely means don’t have/yet to arrive/no approval to offer

If you are open to browsing and buying items you discover in store, can also try asking for an appointment to drop by and shop. If still no response then probably a sign to move on
