Thank you! My request was a non-quota bag. SA was nice enough to help me put under waitlist for my request, the wait was less than a month. My current pre spend is less than 10k.

Hello everyone! I’m new here in purse forum, and im starting to get addicted back reading H-related topics, as the stories are all very helpful and insightful. :heart:

I’m from New Zealand, and unfortunately there is no Hermes boutique here, and I have just been buying from resellers and Hermes online (H Australia delivers to NZ). During my travel to SG last December, I visited all H branches searching for Chypre, and miserably failed, but on the other hand, I got offered my first H bag (Picotin) without any purchase history, thanks to a lovely SA in MBS. I got her number for future visits, and luckily, I have another trip to SG scheduled this March (will be in SG for 2 weeks). I am going to do some shopping, and I am eager to get another bag, but was wondering if this is possible? Is there a way I could request a non-quota bag by just messaging my SA? And what are my odds of getting a QB?

You could first try messaging your SA and tell him/her that your are visiting so you could set an appointment with him/her. You could also tell the items you were looking forward to buy to check if they are available. Since you have purchase history, it is possible you could get a non qb bag during your visit but it still depends how popular the bag you are asking for is. As for the quota bag, your chance of getting one is low unless you spend xxx amount in one go but even then your chances are not that high. It was easier before covid where tourists can easily get qb by spending a certain amount but things have changed. Locals have been waiting longer and longer now for qbs unlike before. Even my SA mentioned that getting bags was easier before and waiting times are now are long.

I think it is not so easily available for walk-ins. I have been a customer since 2020, after 3 QBs and yet never been offered one.

On the other hand, you have a better chance going to a reseller with a wide-variety of combo at a lower price. Just saying........

Further to @tabloid’s response, I’d like to add that it’s virtually impossible for walk-in customers to buy a rodeo or rodeo pegasus.

@tabloid you’ll have to ask your SA for one! Based on your 3QB profile, I have no reason to believe that you won’t be allocated one. As for me, my SA usually allocates a matching rodeo to me when I collect my QB. A But after collecting 5-6, I think I’m over them. For die-hard rodeo collectors, I’m really sorry. I still love to accessorise my bags with rodeos but I don’t have that urge to get one rodeo per QB anymore.

So rodeo , Pegasus or any bag charm cannot form part of the pre spend is it? I just got a birkin 25 from reseller, thinking of decorating it. Bag charm is something I would use so since I m going to spend that money might as well just go towards building up a profile if the item is easily available from boutique n hopefully get a quota bag from boutique now

It depends on store and SA whether it counts or not.
Anyway, u probably won’t get one until after u get a QB from the store. By the time u get a QB and offered one, you won’t think much abt whether it counts or not.

correct these bag charms do not count towards profile
