Hello Gurus of H! I just started my H journey in SG last year and would like to check, how long does it take usually take to get a QB? I'm asking for a k25. and my SA is always ghosting me . I will request for something, it will take the SA 1 or 2 days to get back to me. Is that normal? I have alr hit the min spend for my qb but maybe cos im not a top spender, my SA always takes very long to respond to me. Would like to see if its normal or is my SA just not great

It's quite normal as the SAs are very tied up due to overwhelming demand. They've their own set of clients and walk-in clients to service and only x hours on hand. Sometimes, they don't even have time to rest or go for proper meals. I would say follow up if need be and don't take it too personally.

Waiting time for QB depends on the colours and hardware you're looking for. The Q for popular selections tend to be longer and some even wait up to 1 year or more for the right combi. Best person to ask is your SA for they'll be able to advise a more accurate timeline based on the current store situation.

Any idea if I should continue spending or wait till i get my QB before spending? And also, is there any quota per year for QB? is it 1 or 2?

For me it took me 9 months recently to get my Kelly 25 Sellier in etoupe. I requested in April 2022 and got it in Jan 2023. For me my SA usually responds to me within the day unless she is on leave. But I have heard of SAs that take a few days to reply - so its quite normal.

After I got my kelly 25 in Jan, she messaged me and asked me to go down to the boutique cos i asked her some questions about quotas for the year - like is it 1 bag or 2 bags a year. She said it was better to discuss in person. So when i went down, she explained to me and looked at my profile. She said i could put in the next bag now as a wish list based on my spending. After i told her i wanted Birkin 25 in gold with gold hardware she said that may take a year LOLOL. I said i was ok to wait cos i really want this bag in this combination. I actually want a sellier but its discontinued but she said its seasonal and she will just put it in, no harm asking. She did mention its usually 1-2 quota bags a year but with the global shortage, it depends on what you request and your spending habits. When they get 10 bags in and 20 customers want it they will need to prioritise based on spending patterns. So some customers may get 2 a year and some may get 1 QB a year. Hope you get your bag soon.

SA usually prefer if you continue to keep spending while waiting for QB bag to come. As waits can be quite long now, try to keep your account active while waiting it also increases your chance of getting the QB faster. They look at all these factors when decided who gets a bag first. As to whether is it 1 or 2 a year - see my answer above, depends on your spending amount and pattern and also what you request for.

Also, like for my case, cos my QB bag took 9 months to come, after it came i can put in request for next one. And cos it takes a while you don't want to waste precious time accumulating your spend only after your QB comes. Then you may only end up wit a QB once every 2 years if let's say you take 6 - 12 months to accumulate your spend.

Should one continues to spend while waiting for QB?

It depends on a few factors:
1) Does the Store/SA allows accumulation of spending towards the next QB during waiting period? Some allows, some don't.
2) Availability of the items that you've always wanted/need. Seasonal items may not come again.
3) Whether you're fine with spending even if it doesn't count towards the next QB? Depth of your bank account/wallet/pockets.
4) Boosting your profile with more pre-spend for your next goal.

Feel free to chime in if i miss out on any other points. There's no hard and fuss rules as to spending during waiting period. For my personal experience, SA prefers that i don't overspend on the pre-spend too much and will cut down on comms until the bag is here.

Just want to add that my SA told me in December that K25 is currently the most requested bag overall. This was simply in passing during our chat, I am not requesting for one. In SG competition is relatively fierce.

Very much prefer yours too. Can accumulate while waiting and not miss out on all the nice goodies. Win-win for both sides!

Anyway, when I texted her about the mini jypsiere she just said cannot request and to just buy things I like. Is it very difficult to get a mini jypsiere even though it’s not a quota bag? For reference, I still have some more pre spend needed for qb.

IMO, requesting specific pieces and subsequently turning them down once they arrive may or may not affect your relationship/profile with your SA.

Means u haven’t spent enough to be considered. Usually new/unique offerings will go to those who spent a lot and long time clients. Otherwise they don’t have much to buy.

The mini jypsiere is a new launch so must be very in-demand right now, and whatever stock that’s received by the store is most likely reserved for VVIPs or those who have already hit prespend & have been waiting for awhile for their QB. Also as mentioned above, if you had previously requested but then turned down a bag (when a Lindy26 is not an unpopular bag either), can’t see how that would help motivate your SA to go and reserve another bag for you… If you’re sure you really want the mini jypsiere, suggest you keep building your pre-spend and then request at a later point in time.

I’m at LT and advised by SA that carry over prespend is not allowed. However SA also said the higher prespend, the easier and faster to get a highly requested combo.
