Just sharing this again based on my H journey in SG, out of curiosity, my sister and I asked our SA if we could qualify for a Himalaya because we both are serious about this holy grail, and how to score this. Our SAs said even if we spend 300k on furniture, it is most likely we will get denied simply because hima bags need at least 15 years of regular monthly spend. But a friend of mine in SG bought a couple of furnitures, lamps etc....in one year and been with H only for 5 years, and got a HIMA last December!
So each H journey surely is different.

it is really eye opening reading abt the hima sharing above  owning a togo b25 is just nothing  ah thats why Himalaya at auction house and reseller is still very much on demand.

thats why they call it holy grail ! saw a lady post on IG, all sorts of H shoes in Hima, all diff types of H bags in hima. geez spent how much has she spent then:facepalm: not to mention shoes have sizes and those must be customised!

one mountain is higher than another mountain.

How do you all feel after getting your QBs, with the time, money and emotional roller coasters invested into the process? I love bags and my H boutique visits (prespend game included) but l’m just wondering if finally getting a bag is actually anticlimactic… after all, it’s just a bag, and a really pricey one. Do you still love your QBs as much as when u first got it?

I enjoyed part of the store purchase experience but largely it’s very hard work. I wouldn’t say my SAs are rude to me or didn’t try their best to get the things I requested for. In fact, they are all very nice. I like all the items I got. But I now can understand why many people buy direct from the resellers. I might want to do that in future.

Well I still love my 1st QB which is a K28 sellier got it on Oct 2021. I do pop by store regularly spend average 1k per visit for items I wanted. Got mini Constance July 2022. I do use it whenever I got chance. By the way I do got Ang Pow this year. My DG & I have to ‘dissect’ an Ang Pow to realise the rotating part:lol:.

Still very much in love with my QBs and will never forget that special heart pounding moment of reveal by SA. Hermes is a slippery slope and the pre-spend game is like a hungry horse who is asking for more hay till it’s satisfied.

Yes I did have this "it is just a bag" moment sometimes but this mainly to serves as reminder to pull myself back to reality; don't be too proud just because owning/carrying a b25, it is just a bag, there are higher mountain out there.

Next moment, I love it like the 1st day i just got the offer since it did not come easy. Monetary, energy, feeling, time spent were real afterall. I take this as little achievement part of a chapter of my lifetime.

Thanks for sharing this. Crazy world of prespend. I don’t have the guts to ask my SA yet so thanks for sharing. I’ve a cheeky question for you though. If your SA said you qualified, would you have really clocked 300K of prespend to get the Hima and keep it as like an heirloom?

I’m not a taitai. In this lifetime, my highest achievable tier is probably a croc bag. Just curious about the profiles of those who are on this Hermes journey with me. Ladies feel free to chime in on what your upper limit is. Realistic answers please.

I’m glad that you’ve reach the “stage of nirvana” in your H journey to have asked this question. H still brings me joy as I add new items to my collection and I love all my QBs. But I no longer have that roller coaster ride of emotions as when I first started years ago. I also no longer clamour for the “it” colours or 2 QBs each year. I hardly ask my SA for non-QB bags. I rather wait patiently for pieces that I want to add to my collection.

Thank you to all who shared your perspective on whether you still love your QBs…and the process of getting it. The recent price increase made me question if l really wanted to have a QB, or is it just because it’s so desirable to so many. While l didn’t start off my journey with a singular goal of getting a QB, l find myself actually counting my prespend and occasionally even buying things that l do not like very much. I think it’s a bit of case of fomo and the dopamine hits everytime l manage to buy something from the store

If my SA offered me a Hima, most likely, I had already spent 300k in a year (which is IMPOSSIBLE)! I would probably pass it on to my daughter as heirloom. Not a taitai too, scored a few exotics as well. I think that is my max limit.
