I initially still wanted to ask if CNY packets is available during my next appointment (if I happen to purchase something, of course) but since is just for VIPs, think I don’t ask then XD

Just wants my wishlist to be fulfilled (not bags.. yet)
You should still ask regardless. You nv know if the SA might hv something for you. I remember when I 1st started and was clocking less than 20k spend, SA still managed to ask for 1pkt for me. It depends. Ask no harm, at most is a No.

Hello @Whitecollar ,

Hope you don’t misunderstand, I think its perfectly fine to share doubt about the Ang Bao just that it might have gotten a bit serious along the way. I was trying to lighten things up a lil’ given how active and friendly our local H forum is!
Most doubts do get addressed to in this forum and people are open to sharing, it help me get past some of the inner demons while playing the game , hee!

As for the story, it’s mainly about the stark contrast of behaviors in the store. Will share soon if more are keen :)

Am curious on the story too! Do share if you are comfortable doing so :)

I think to build a genuine relationship with the SA is important. A lot of things asked here at the forum can only be answered by the SA. I will just ask and of course get cordial indirect answers at first.

Then slowly able to see the changes until my SA is calculating in front of me and telling me the amount of balance I have in my profile in the exact amount that is eligible to be deducted for my next bag. I didn’t even ask her. In fact, I told her I have no idea what QB to request next.
So nice of your SA, I wish mine would allow me to rollover too as I certainly did overspend. I wonder if it is because of my spending behaviour (I would spend several thousands at one go and it only took me two visits to hit the required prespend). Perhaps my SA could tell I can afford to overspend and hence not allow me to rollover? I’m eager to get my first QB hence I was focussed on hitting the prespend asap. May I ask is that how you spend also or you would spend 1-2k slowly over many visits to hit the prespend? I wonder if our spending behaviour affects how SA treats us, hmm.

I’m a facts/stats based person so I’m going to try to explain it in my own way. Say an SA works 5 days a week and 8hrs each shift (7hrs if you minus lunch break). So in 7hrs maybe can have 5-6 appts lasting one hour each and for the remaining time, he/she has got to help take walk-in customers.

So if you’re an SA, how would you allocate your time according to (1) your new and old customers as well as (2) those who can spend big vs those who can just spend 1-2K each visit? Bear in mind that SAs have sales quotas to meet and now, clients can’t place deposits anymore.

If I’m an SA, I’ll definitely test my new customers to see who I wanna “keep” vis-a-vis my older clients and suss out who is only after QBs but can’t really embody what H is looking for in choice clients.

So to answer your qn, yes how you spend definitely affects how your SA treats you. If you can afford to overspend, just go ahead. Why would your SA stop you? Any non-bag items you buy is all commission for them! But bottomline advice to all the newbies is, please buy what you love and if you’re really after QBs only, then go the reseller route coz it’s faster and cheaper for you.

I’m not saying this because I’m belittling those with lesser spending power. I’m pointing out the reality. It’s like how some Singaporean parents rent condos near branded schools so their kids can get in. Then when all the other kids are off to Aspen for ski holidays, they go on cruise. Imagine the stress their kid go through in school compared to their other classmates when they realise that their lived experience are so different?!?

So same thing, some of us normal beings aspire to be a H customer. Then some start having unreasonable demands of their SAs and demand for XXXYYYY. But remember what I explained about an SA’s time in para 1? What do you think the SAs’ response will be?

I’ve a feeling that I’m going to get a lot of backlash from this post but so be it. I can play bad cop today. And I’m not paid by H as some keyboard warrior ah. It’s just that oft lately, the posts have been getting a bit fiery. I’m just trying to explain things from an SA’s perspective.

Hmmmm….there is no science to spending. Especially covid years. There simply is low stock. Whatever I want also don’t have….what to do? I wanna go and blow 10k at 1 visit is quite challenging. Unless I wanna get things just to clock the spending, which will be absolutely no point.

So, I just buy specifically what I like. It can be 40 for the hand sanitizer (just pop by to get a gift for friend) to 7k per visit if I happen to get several things when the stars aligned.

Oh nono, not at all. I've actually gotten the ang bao but was suggesting to other ladies who seem to be having SA troubles the possibility of switching SAs and somehow it started gotten serious

Yes! It should be supportive and friendly! Ultimately, everyone should have a great time shopping, and doing what they're comfortable instead of stressing!

Depends on the store mostly if prespending isn't an issue. Some stores do require profile history due to long waitlist. Since most of their clients probably have met their prespend too! Give it some time and build a relationship with your SA, I'm pretty sure your turn would come soon

I see the bag drops online occasionally too but it’s always not available to purchase. Perhaps my fingers are really too slow. Saw somewhere that there are bots that resellers use that automatically buys the bags when it drops and hence no chance for others to get. Has anyone actually gotten bags online before and are the bots rumours true?

Hi ladies, I need advice on resellers in Singapore to sell some bags.

Have anyone sell any bags in ginza xiaoma in their new Singapore store? How is the experience? Is it better to sell it via Luxlexicon? Asia recognised vs Singapore recognised?

Any other resellers to recommend? How do you choose which one to go for?

Edited: if it is too sensitive to share your experience in public forum, please PM me. Thank you.
i prefer lexicon than others..... larger customer base

I do think is possible to still get bags as a buyer, when the 24/24 mini dropped yesterday, it took abit longer to sell as compared to other bags. I added it to my cart (testing) and it was still available at least for a few mins after me adding so I could have probably carted out if I wanted to...?

Also there was a kelly pocket wallet (SLG) that was available for a couple of hours few days ago too.
