Hi ladies,

Do any one of you also add Vibram soles for your Oasis sandals? Where do you do it?
Any recommended place in town / orchard / CBD area?

Pls advise the estimated cost too.

Thanks so much!
Just recently did for my Oran sandals at MasterFix (Paragon) in December. Went to this place after seeing others recommended it here on the forum.

$50/Pair but that was before GST increase haha. I worn it once so far and I think so far so good!

Thank you Stitchh!
Just sent in my shoes to get the soles done. Saw at least 10 pairs of H / Dior shoes before mine. Brisk business! Was told to come back 1.5 hours to collect! It’s still $50 per pair nett.

No probs! Wow, at least you know is reliable with so many pairs of H/Dior pairs waiting :D

Side note, did anyone saw the bag drops today online? Wow so many beautiful pieces

This is one of those “let’s address elephants in the room” moment. I tried to contain myself but I couldn’t let go of the thoughts surging through me.

Darling, just because she didn’t get allocated red packets, you’re advising her to change SA!!! What if I said that among my circle of friends, we receive two sets of red packets each year? Are you going to tell those who receive one set to change SA too?

The Hermes journey is different for each and everyone and you build your profile and relationship slowly. And yes, H clientele are tiered. Treatment is different because your profile and spending history is different. We need to accept this instead of flippantly advising others to change SA! Chill girl, chill. It’s just red packets!

And don’t hate me. Like you, I’m not a VVIP tier customer either. I’m very cognisant that I shouldn’t have unreasonable expectations.
Just my take and am not taking sides in any way ( just in considerations with how this Ang Bao issue seems to get sensitive)..

I agree that all H Journey differs, as it is also dependent on the human behavior from both SA and us. It depends on things we buy, things we like, how we clock our purchases( we have to admit some purchase anything to clock spend for the bag ), and also the SA we have, store stock availability. There’s simply so many different permutations that can exist!

I am more a CNY person than Christmas so i prefer the red packets over some snowglobes ( though i probably dont qualify for them yet) . I get that my SA is super busy and try my best to be patient while staying respectful , they seem to have a dream job but they also get ridiculously busy. I am pretty new to this H game(yes i call it Game cos there were so many questions or even self doubts at moments etc and mentioned that its tougher than when I was dating my husband.) , but i think the best reminder to myself in order to stay sane while trying to get a Q:

Try to be patient but not silly( if it comes, it comes but have realistic expectations of when you can start asking if the topic has not been discussed) .
What is my main focus ( hoping to get my dream bag so as much as I love the Ang Bao, PRIORITISE)
Trust your instinct (There are so many SAs, why did you lean more towards one over the other or even when to switch)

Y?

If SA does not offer, there r many reasons. Don’t spend enough, Fully distributed, plain forgot.

If ask and SA says not available, at least can rule out forgetfulness.

I think there are many a times when the relation is new or because of wanting to request for a bag, some may tend to thread on ice instead of being more forthcoming with queries or questions they feel they can ask.
My SA from C was sharing that many feel the H SAs have the dream job where clients dont dare to be late or overly rude in fear of getting denied a bag. In this industry , there are however some clients that feels they are entitled to more because of the amount they have spend. It is never easy for us, but the same sometimes applies for the SA.

I had a really interesting experience in the store recently, and yes , I enjoy people watching and H is sometimes the best store to do so with the many behaviours and emotions on the floor. That’s a story for another day if people are keen to know as I shall not make this lengthier.

P.s In case you are wondering : I didn’t get the red packets and I didn’t ask. I was excited with my overspending due to store stock availability. Notice how my reminders to self does not include SELF CONTROL ?

I think to build a genuine relationship with the SA is important. A lot of things asked here at the forum can only be answered by the SA. I will just ask and of course get cordial indirect answers at first.

Then slowly able to see the changes until my SA is calculating in front of me and telling me the amount of balance I have in my profile in the exact amount that is eligible to be deducted for my next bag. I didn’t even ask her. In fact, I told her I have no idea what QB to request next.

I for one am very curious about the people watching story! I sort of am one of the fire starter with regards to the entire Ang bao thing and I do apologise to all the girls here if it seems like my opinions doesn't sit well with some. Buttttt, really it is based on my experience so I hope it doesn't come off as criticism. Just want everyone to know that there is always an option to switch SA, and really not trying to stir any sort of drama but putting my inputs to help other girls here in their H journey. ✨

Hello @Whitecollar ,

Hope you don’t misunderstand, I think its perfectly fine to share doubt about the Ang Bao just that it might have gotten a bit serious along the way. I was trying to lighten things up a lil’ given how active and friendly our local H forum is!
Most doubts do get addressed to in this forum and people are open to sharing, it help me get past some of the inner demons while playing the game , hee!

As for the story, it’s mainly about the stark contrast of behaviors in the store. Will share soon if more are keen :)
