If my SA offered me a Hima, most likely, I had already spent 300k in a year (which is IMPOSSIBLE)! I would probably pass it on to my daughter as heirloom. Not a taitai too, scored a few exotics as well. I think that is my max limit.
Oh wow!! I’m still waiting to be “promoted” to exotics coz the prespend barrier. Thanks for always being so open and willing to share.

Print more or fewer. Still end up with this kind of disgusting sale.. I’m speechless..
Thanks for the pic. At least I know what H angpow looks like
Didn't know this topic was so sensitive and would set off 5 pages of discussion.
I'm now only just catching up on all the posts.
To set the record straight, I was doing CNY shopping elsewhere at the mall and had time to spare before my hubby came to pick me. So I popped in to H and spoke to whoever was available. She was quite friendly & explained that they had not received the stocks of angpow yet and asked me to try again closer to CNY. I was a bit surprised as it was only 2 weeks to CNY. Anyway that was it. I wasn't angry or anything. Nor did I go complaining to anybody. Don't need to feel bad for me la...
Maybe next year... ?
Yeah in the bigger scheme of things I'd rather get my QB sooner

I enjoyed part of the store purchase experience but largely it’s very hard work. I wouldn’t say my SAs are rude to me or didn’t try their best to get the things I requested for. In fact, they are all very nice. I like all the items I got. But I now can understand why many people buy direct from the resellers. I might want to do that in future.
Yes agree. It's alot of time and effort invested...
I'm open to getting a pre-loved bag if it means I can get the exact specs I want. There are some well-priced options for bigger sizes like K32 & B35, if you know where to look.

I for one am very curious about the people watching story! I sort of am one of the fire starter with regards to the entire Ang bao thing and I do apologise to all the girls here if it seems like my opinions doesn't sit well with some. Buttttt, really it is based on my experience so I hope it doesn't come off as criticism. Just want everyone to know that there is always an option to switch SA, and really not trying to stir any sort of drama but putting my inputs to help other girls here in their H journey. ✨

Am curious on the story too! Do share if you are comfortable doing so

I hope the sharing of people watching / personal experiences in the stores is allowed on this thread, if it is not, please feel free to let me know. Apologies on the delay in sharing, I was kept busy and could only look at the forum after settling things to do with regards to a car accident I had just been in.

I am a patient shopper when I do go down to the store, cos I like making purchase decisions unrushed. Sometimes my SA takes a little time to take out items and to keep the items I am not keen on. I do not mind browsing while waiting as I know the SAs have quite a bit to handle and limited time in between clients to keep the items. I am glad my SA is nice to me, while sometimes being i guess defensive, maybe over the H products or hopefully looking out for me.

There was once I was browsing scarves laid out for me to decide on and while the SA was needed elsewhere by a colleague, another lady came over and grabbed one of the scarves to see. The staff standing by the door saw what happen while I simply frozen there amused albeit a bit shocked.Moments later, my SA(ngel) sees this lady with the scarve and told her in a stern tone :’’ if you would like to take a look at these items please check in with the person attending to you.’’

A more recent experience was getting scanned over by another customer in the store while waiting to pay, in all honesty, it wasn’t a friendly or normal glance ( kinda like you have no place here). I guess she thought I was waiting to get the attention of any available SA to attend to me. She went to the table I was standing at while waiting, and used her bag and items to push my bag away. I didn’t wanna engage cos I do have relatives and family friends from the same country and could not care less. She on the other hand , was scrambling to buy things ( her SA is pretty vocal and says out the price or its not your size in a decibel pretty audible to anyone at that same section.) , and was picking up anything and everything. Her daughter also asked the SA if the display change tray had a discount since it was last piece. I guess my SA noticed, since there was hardly any table space for me to check my purchases before ringing them up since i shifted away. That was the first time my SA spoke louder than usual when calling me to come swipe my card and reading out the totals .

P.s I am a H newbie & can’t enter via the second entrance that some VIPs get access to.. Hope I didn‘t bore anyone out and hope to hear if some interesting experiences in the store from the lovely SG community. As for the people watching, am still thinking if its ok to share here, it does involve someone with a SO. >.<

P.s @Whitecollar your new cart out is so lovely!!

Thanks for sharing and I hope you are ok! Take care. I think it’s ok to share observations as long as we don’t share too many identifying features of the people involved like what they were wearing or details of the bags they were carrying. After all, there’s an entire “Hermes overheard” thread.

It’s great that your SA looks out for you. I’ve not had any unpleasant encounters, only witnessed once a customer’s behaviour towards their SA that wasn’t v nice—they were complaining loudly that nothing they wanted was in stock and impatiently telling their SA who was putting away some scarves and rtw she had taken out to show them “can you hurry up” as they wanted to shop at a different section of the store. I felt sorry for the SA

Thanks for hoping I am well, might have some whiplash & the aftermath of all the reporting isn’t easy with pain down my neck. Gonna take time to recover from the shock, I guess the only thing that might make it feel better is a call from my SA.
P.s Just kidding, am trying to find the light at the end of this car chain collision tunnel.
Apologies if i shared in the wrong thread.
