comment: is this authentic? do you know the seller? Should i ask for close-ups of the area that has a missing stitch? I know some of you don't mind your scarves with missing tags, and although i would never sell any of my H, do you need to be extra careful with a scarf that has a loose tag? If i wanted to keep the tag on, should i take it into H to have it re-sewn (sorry, i know, dumb question, but i still consider myself a scarf newbie!) thanks in advance:heart:

IDK about the missing stitch in the hem, but care tags often come loose on their own. In fact, many of us (myself included) snip them off! It's quite easy and there's minimal risk of harming the scarf, none if you do it right. I doubt Hermes would restitch a caretag for you, but they would probably fix the hem.

I have a question, less of a scarf ID than a scarf info- what's the deal with Les Parisiens? When was it issued? I seem to remember hearing it was not released in the US but I've seen it at Bergdorf's and TPRB has several CWs right now (and I could be completely making up the not released in the US thing, wouldn't be the first time). Was it released in the US? Would I still be able to find this in boutiques? Is it cute or creepy? I can't decide but I'm drawn to it.

Parisiens is not my favorite design - too graphic & simple, but, then those designs are all the rage now - I don't think the people are terribly Parisian-looking...

It was from FW 2006-7 - year of Paris, and came in several cws graphite, red, black, pink, lt blue fields & was available in the US & was not a special issue - anymore than the Indian theme scarves are special issues this yr

But, has been heavily faked

It might be found in a store or at the sales

Thanks for clearing that up, MT! I need to think about it more, I just can't decide how I feel about the drawings. And I'll watch out for fakes!

One thing that irks me about that one .... why a dalamtian ?? isn't Dalmatia on the Adriatic ? LOL why could they not put a nice French bulldog on that scarf ??? like the one on Les Triples

1. it was readily avail in the US but it was popular that season

2. I doubt u will be able to find in H stores since it appeared at the sales last yr. try Neiman

3. only u can decide whether its cute or not

looks okay. Never had any business with the seller and none of my friends have ever bought from them either so nothing to report there.

Have u ever bought from an Italian seller before? Some people have loads of trouble with the Italian PO.

Also, even tho the seller doesnt say so, I believe this MIGHT BE a chargeant mousseline.
