Hi -I sure hope someone knows this style/ name (not the design name)-I recently bought a scarf at the Toronto sale and I don't know what it is called. It is cotton and has an elaborate pattern on it and has a silver charm in the corner dangling from a reinforced little hole.

My price / sale tag has this on it:
s05015702OTHER SILK HSA
000709s
SCARF 27.5 METAL

It was priced 375.00 Canadian but on sale for 187.50.

I would be eternally grateful if anyone could identify the style or name of this scarf (not the design) as I would like to get some more in different colours etc.-they're great !

Thank you for your time !

Hi BudgetBabe,
Can you post a photo?

Hi All!

Had anyone ever seen this pattern? Thanks!!

Brennamom - I had it once, and Seton helped me out with the info (it's buried somewhere upthread): this gavroche was issued for th Year of the Stars (l'année d'étoiles, 1999), the artist is Maglione (siggy bottom left), but no title. That's all I know... Darling piece though! :smile1:

(I miss Seton dearly! Where is she? :search: )

^^ Just found one of them on ebay with the explanation "Reçu en cadeau à l'occasion d'un vol à bord du Concorde (le Bristol joint au gavroche fait partie de la vente), sorti de sa boite pour la photo."

- looks like they gave them away at Concorde, possibly to commemorate(miserate) the last flight? Now I regret that I sold mine...

Hi All! Does anyome know if Axis Mundi was released as a black/white c/w? Almost like a reverse pencil drawing or Passage a Tokyo? I've searched all the ref threads and only see it in full color. Thanks!!

Yes, it was  It's called 'finesse' I think (no colouring, only the contours), they can be pretty gorgeous!

:whistle: Thank you my dear, I'm thrilled!!
