I'll guess it is about 1990 based on the double caretag (Obsolete) and the department store (also obsolete). The earlier ones had a narrow border rather tahn the contrast hem

I bought this scarf on ebay and it is by Maurice Taquoy. I was wondering if anyone knows the year of production? It was made for Bergdorf Goodman.

I have a question about the scarf Jardin Secret by Valerie D-D.... Was this scarf ever made with a contrasting border? Or, did it always have the background color reach to the edges? Thanks, I hope someone can answer this for me.

jburgh I wish I could help you, but I don't know the answer to your question.

Looking at the Jardin secret, I can not quite imagine a contrasting border though, IMO it would go against the design.

Thank you. I saw someone wearing it with a 1 inch border in a contrasting color and was baffled. I assumed that it may not have been authentic, ever other cw was solid...Oh wait, someone just PMed me that there is one on eBay, I'll post that in the AT thread.

I have seen pictures with a 1) mint green, 2) tan/brownish and 3) light grey border. No contrasting hem.

Any knowledge of this design? I bought it at a resale shop in Chicago, as I love anything with dogs. However, I'm also interested in any history of the scarf, design, artist, etc....
