Thanks @papertiger I think this is the right place for my question. I saw the scarf in a few places and wasn't necessarily asking for an authentication since I had perceived it to be authentic. I was trying to figure out the CW/name of the colors featured since I've seen other scarves with that same/similar darker teal background. Wondering what they called that color since I am newer to collecting! I mentioned the 'therealreal' situation since I know occassionally inauthentic pieces come through and I haven't found a cw reference for that particular Les Cles so it was possible that it wasn't authentic. Again, thank you for showing me where the post should have gone, I'm still learning!

Good.

If you want to know more about your particular scarf, Les Cles, it's originally from 1965, is one of those classic designs that get reissued again and again as it was so popular, it's also in many formats so just look for the original and reissues of the carre (90) and trying to find out the year it was issued and work from there.

Please tell me if I am posting in the wrong place as I'm not sure this is for scarves as well as bags but can anyone tell me what colorway this Les Cles is? Apparently it sold on therealreal at some point but I know items slip through their cracks too.

Photos are attached for reference, thanks for any help!
The colours are Bleu canard/Argent/Bleu dur (as written in therealreal's advertisment).
This reedition of Les Clés was released AW2008.
You can read what marietouchet writes about the colour bleu canard in the thread FW2008 scarves post #380 here
French to English: Bleu = blue, canard = duck, Argent = silver, dur = hard.

Thank you so much @Holsby I really appreciate that! I was having difficulty narrowing down the year and despite searching I couldn't confirm the info on therealreal since I was seeing so many other blues when searching. What marietouchet wrote makes perfect sense now. Thank you so so much this is very helpful!

Dear scarf friends, does anybody know anything at all about this scarf, Venerie Et Chasse Royale? Is it even Hermès for sure? I am trying to research it and although nearly every piece of info I find attributes it to H and Hallo, his name is not on it and not a single one that I have looked at has a Hermès label, which rings alarm bells in my head. One site attributes it to de Linarès! I would be ever so grateful if anybody can confirm anything about the heritage of this scarf. Many thanks.

PS This is not a request for authenticity, merely looking to build up a story on the history!

Is it a 90cm?
It is not listed under that name in Fontan’s “Carres d’art III,” 2017 ed., an illustrated dictionary, alphabetized list of Hermes 90cm scarves, perhaps with a few exceptions on sizes.
I’ll leave it to the much more experienced to comment beyond that.

Thanks Jbizzybeetle! I think I must have left my Carrés D'Art in France as that was the first place I went to look as a starting point but couldn't find it anywhere in my house. However, I know that the book isn't definitive in its listings so the fact it isn't mentioned doesn't mean it's not H. The flipside is that apart from auction houses saying it is I don't have much to go on to state categorically that it is!!! Grrrrrrrrr! Yes, it's a 90 (give or take a couple of cm ).

I always look which way the hems are rolled on vintage scarves that have had their labels removed
