I'm looking for a little help with an old scarf I found. I believe it is called "Poste Aux Lettres" This one has no copyright sign or artist signature. I read somewhere that the first issue was 1957. Does that mean that this one is a first edition?
Any info on this scarf woudlbe greatly apprediated! Thanks so much!

1. No copyright means that it is before circa 1968

2. Poste Aux Lettres is by Hugo Grygkar, who never signs his scarf designs

3. It might be first edition or it might not. There is no way of knowing if the scarf is from 1957 or, say, if it's from 1962 since the difference between those yrs would be non-existent

Hi, everyone! I'm new here--I discovered the site while researching Annie Faivre designs on the web. I've been slowly building my collection this year, and there's one I would really like to have: Le Temps des Marionettes. On most that I see for sale, however, the copyright logos of Hermès does not include the accent mark. It simply reads: (copyright symbol) Hermes. Is this standard for this design?

Thank you so much. I tried hard to ask this question in the right thread--I hope I didn't make a mistake. If I did, please let me know.

It seems so. I just took a look at mine (bought at H) and it doesnt have the grave accent.

LailaT, glad to hear that the changeant (it was a changeant, wasnt it?) worked out for you.

oh yes, it was just as you predicted (violet/blue) -- the overall look is a beautiful deep plum/brown -- I think it's my most beautiful mousseline BY A LONG SHOT! I wouldn't have gotten it, had you not assisted. So thank you again, dear seton!
oh and good news on the Italian post -- the box was sent on the 10th and arrived on the 19th, cost 7 euros. i was very satisfied with the whole deal (not that $450 is chump change, but it's a really special scarf for me)

Hi, I am new to Hermès, I need your help! I found this scarf second hand. I asumed it is a fake as it didn't cost much, then I got interested in the story of the pattern "Les perroquets" and ended up following a guide to authentication at this forum. I couldn't find anything fake about it accordning to the list, and it's a nice silk twill. The problem is, I can't find any pictures of this color combination. Now I'm asking you experts if you know if this scarf has been issued in this color? If not a fake, what year? I have seen so many amazing artful scarves looking through archives on internet but never this one so I would be so happy if you could help me. I am addicted to the mystery:-)

Your pictures are kind of blurry. I would like a clear picture of the floating "c" in a circle that should be somewhere on the scarf as well as an indication on its location on the scarf.

Having said that, it looks good so far and I have seen this colorway before. All Les Perroquets in silk twill 90cm (not to be confused with the Perroquets Detail scarf) are from 1984.

Yes, I know. My camera is not very good, sorry for the blurr... I found C in a circle with HERMÈS in capital letters after, on the upper left corner. I tried to take a picture of it as well as the care tag but it's still blurry. If you can't make anything of this pictures I will try post better ones later.
