Dear all,
Can anyone advise me on the name of this scarf? It's 70cm and looks like something from vintage men's collection.

I ID'd this before here:

Cordelieres by Henri D'Origny

What is the Queen wearing?

she is wearing a vintage scarf probably from the 1950s. Whether it is H, I would need a much better photo with clearer details to tell,

I must apologize to Seton for hijacking her thread, I shall post any more info on snowflakes in the grail scarf thread mea culpa

AND PS on icicles - they are at the corner so will show up almost any way you tie the design , as long as you select the southwest - north east bias fold

No apologies necessarily. My thread is your thread. mi casa es su. :smile1:

Good evening, I hope this is the right place to ask. I have a gavroche given to me by mother at least 10 years ago. She has now died and I was looking to find out the name and year of the scarf to see about matching it. I know it was bought new in the Hermès shop but the copyright doesn't have an è which seems odd. Many thanks!

Welcome. Just a reminder that this thread does not address authenticity, which is what some of your questions relate to. Thanks for your understanding.

Oh I'm sorry. I didn't mean it to sound like that. I have always owned this scarf and was bought new so not concerned at all by authenticity. I just thought it might help to identify it as most 'modern' scarves seem to have Hermès correctly spelt, or so I thought. Sorry again!

Hi, I like ur moniker. Youre my fave character in Les Miz. :smile1:

I think it will be very hard to match ur gavroche since it hasnt been avail since 1998 as far as I can recall. It's Cavale Joyeuse by Ljubomir Milinkov.

Ah thank you so much! Couldn't find this one anywhere so nice to have a name and date. Might have to match the colours rather than the pattern perhaps. Do they make numerous of each design?

Les Mis is my favourite too whic is partly why I got this scarf :)

Hi! I've tried to identify these two scarves on the Hermes Scarf Catalogue website, but haven't had any luck. Does anyone recognize these? I am sorry that I don't have better pictures, and TIA!

Hello to all with Hermes Scarf Identification. I sincerely hope I have posted this inquiry properly. I acquired an unusual Hermes scarf and I would like to find out the style of this scarf. It is long and slender scarf. The hems are stitched rather than rolled and it is marked c. Hermes on each end. It is 64" (162cm) in length and the ends are 6.5" (16.5) wide. Thank you in advance for your expertise. Kindest regards.

Just updating my own post. Before asking here I had asked Hermès themselves if they could tell me anything about my scarf and they have just got back to me. It is called La Cavale Fleurie and was designed in 2000 by Mr Ljubomir Milinkov. I also seem to be in luck as he had a new design in Spring of this year which I am hoping I will be able to get as my 'match'! Thanks again for all the help.

That's interesting. I'm pretty sure that I saw it in a catalog at that time and it was referred to as La Cavale Joyeuse. Thx for the update.

You can see the new Milinkov gavroche on hermes's website. It's not that similiar to yours.

It feels like fate to me to be honest as we are a serious sailing family (as well as a 'horsey' one!) and his new one is a perfect sailing boat. My mother would have jumped on it for me if she was still alive so I'm delighted. Good timing with Christmas too ;)

Thanks for your help Seton. I was able to do a lot of research on the designer based on your information.

The pattern appears to be Qu'Import le Flacon. However, not sure that it was originally sold this way by Hermes. It appears to be a craft project that someone created with two H scarves of the same print. It looks as if someone cut two scarves on the bias and sewed them together to make this sort of "aftermarket twilly".
