And moscou comes out of hiding on eBay at just this very time of year !!! Yes !!!
Agree the vignette there on showing the boutique is really sweet
This is far and away my fav de passage scarf , this one has an intricate design while the others look too much like maps to be fun
I say that even tho I am a major fan of map scarves

Not at desk to share photos but the border is a cassis - black raspberry color
I like that some cws - not all - have golden crosses / spires on the churches - so Russian
That border must be gorgeous in that color!!!! Yes, the gold in the crosses, spires etc are so amazing and Russian. I love the details. I'm on the hunt...thank you again and wish me luck!
This is the snowflake scarf that I was going to mention - I have several cws and love them all. Perhaps my face part are the orange boxes under the tree that is pictured outside of the H boutique. Much easier to see on certain cws. The gold overleaf on the onion domes and crosses is also beautiful and best seen on the taupe cw. I bought the pink, purple and teal to wear, but bought the taupe to look at. And put onto the wall if I ever get my H hanging system sorted out!

GG, these do pop up on eBay moderately frequently.
Good luck,
Hope you find one that you like.
OMG, I love all the details in this scarf And, what's not to LOVE about piles of orange boxes on a gorgeous H scarf;). You lucky lady to have four of the color ways!!!! Do you have any mid pictures you could share? I would love to see how this design wears. I would love to find the purple or teal to wear. And, a taupe to possibly wear and definitely hang. We finally have our hanging system up. I have SaP hanging as we speak.

Thanks for mentioning eBay. I started looking today briefly before attending a wedding. I am on the hunt.

Perfect!!!!
This is my fave CW of Passage a Moscou ... I had to have the store hunt it down but it was worth the wait!
This CW really shows off the intricacies of this design and its details! I hope I will be your twin someday;).
Yes this is the tdf cw with the gold onion domes ! Awesome

Thank you all for your help! If, anyone has any mod photos etc. they feel like sharing....I would LOVE to drool over them;)

Bravo for the self control, IMHO grails are a dime a dozen , the trick is to not get in a bidding war , they all come aging , patience
Thank you marietouchet! Patience has never been any easy virtue of mine:roflmfao: But, I am definitely working on it;)

I've long admired Chestnutty's blue version of the scarf -- and she's shown a modeling pic on SOTD (hope you don't mind, gorgeous and generous C!).

Thank you for posting lovely chestnutty's blue version. It is so beautiful, too. And, would be so wearable:graucho: Someday, I will find my perfect one...I hope!;)

I am hoping one or more of you wonderful scarf experts might help me out;). I have been in a quest to find a couple of my HG's at a reasonable price for quite sometime!!! I'm beginning to wonder if it will ever happen...

Three of them got me thinking...Cave Felem, Pavements, and Lumieres de Paris. I like the look of a tile or mosaic scarf tied. Perhaps there are other less sought after designs with this technique. I know of Provence, SOUS LE CÈDRE, and the recent Voyage de Pytheas. But, could someone in lighten me on others. I am not a logo fan. Not even for Hermes:laugh:

Thanks so much in advance for the insight and education!;)

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts about this post? No worries, if you don't ;)

More mosaic scarves

Mosaique with Byzantine charioteers on it , 1950s HTF, not very popular

Coquillages en Mosaique , 1950s as 70cm twill - HTF, more recently as twilly but even that is HTF, seashells as mosaics

Trophees de Venise I & II, mosaics in some corners of I, all over the detail scarf II, easy to find on ebay , this one shows marble mosaic floors as seen Italy

Ciels Byzantins - design is arguably mosaic - like looking, actually shows illuminated manuscripts

How could I FORGET ??? Pavement - generally a grail, more expensive, but you can find it on Ebay

I too hate logos but Mosaique au 24 is pretty good, the caleche disappears when folded

Hermes a Beverly Hills has a mosaic border , this one is a stretch re mosaics

I am sure I will think of 3 more by tomorrow ...
