recent rtw from spring 2025 - so many great picks in this collection.
is it just me or have rtw prices have gone up? i feel like this type of tee would be 2K before and is now 2.5K 🤔

They keep coming…I ordered this jacket to take to Cannes next week, they marked a number of alterations to make…I tried the jacket today…a disaster. The lines on the back are crooked, there are bubbles all over the back and shoulders, as if there were multiple hunchbacks. The leather belt on the front is down and loose, the sleeves are folding into themselves and making all these uneven creases/pleads. I hope they can fix that, but I don’t know how. Plus I think they shortened the jacket while that was not necessary nor requested.
If they can’t fix that, will they refund me or do I need to keep the crooked jacket full of bubbles and creases? Thanks
The jacket was shipped so I will need to go there to see what they can/will do.
They marked many alterations, so I was surprised I wasn’t asked to come to try it before shipping; they had it for 2 months I believe? Lesson learned; it is clear I cannot buy anything there that requires more than a couple of very simple alterations.
When they said the belt had to be moved, the sleeves had to be taken in etc., I should have thought about the reviews here of people that were disappointed with the alterations and should not have bought it.

yes this is why I am going back to Paris just to pick up my jacket and jumpsuit instead of having them ship it! 😬

Hi dear, thanks, I did, but it was this evening so either I will go there tomorrow, or when I come back.
I’ve never thought they would try to do major alterations without asking the person to come in and try at least once or twice while the work in being done.
Honestly, I don’t think there is a way back for this jacket, unless they take it entirely apart.
I am shocked. I can’t think how they will do couture unless they buy out an entire atelier from Alaia for example.
They have to fix this and/or refund you.

I am shocked at how this looks! So did you try it on initially in the store and have the tailor mark up the alterations? Or did you order your size remotely and they altered off of your previous measurements? It's a beautiful color and I hope they make this right.
Thanks @stephbb9 and @BreezyE ❤️, I tried in store and the SA guided the tailor on the alterations, and the tailor also added the ones he thought would be appropriate. I even asked - “aren’t these too many alterations?” They had it for 2 months to work on it, so I am surprised they didn’t ask me to come in to try it on. The tailors I know, even for a simple hem, will ask you to come and try again before finishing the work.
Anyways, I will go there today and I hope they will be able to fix it. 🙏
