I don’t think so. How do I tell if it’s a flag ship? It only has one story lolInteresting, thanks for sharing.Just out of curiosity, is your store a flagship by any chance?

Curious to know if anyone has seen this jacket before? Images taken from reseller. The Chaine d'Ancre motifs are beautiful exotic leather.
Guessing this is possibly a capsule collection only available at certain flagships globally.![]()

It would definitely need a specialist dry cleaner with experience in exotics/ leathers/ fur etc to minimise damage. This jacket is surely beautiful. I would love to try it on, if it's available at my local boutique.
But I have a doubt though - will such exotic leather inlaid fabric be challenging for cleaning/dry-cleaning? I would love the design, but am concerned if the dry-cleaner may have issue for cleaning such RTW pieces. I would appreciate any insights from ladies here..

It’s gorgeous but I’m curious - in what technicolor world is this considered aubergine? Are they perhaps referring to the charcoal roasted flesh of said vegetable? Or perhaps a different French word/meaning I’m not familiar with?Hi Meta, I just saw this jacket in Aubergine from US H website (SS 2023 collection).
I don't know if H has named/labeled the color for this RTW piece correctly or not...but I agree with your comment. It’s gorgeous but I’m curious - in what technicolor world is this considered aubergine? I was expecting a deep dark purple.
Or pumpkin.Right. It looks more like carrot than aubergine
That's exactly what I said to my SA. With these special pieces I was concerned because my constant moves around the world means I don't always have direct access to couture level dry cleaners. Just like you mentioned, so far my cleaners have managed all my Hermes RTW with leather details but my furs go to Yves Salomon for special cleaning and I have not attempted sending in exotics anywhere.Argh, I have a very good dry-cleaner, which has taken care of my Hermes cashmere jacket with regular leather trims.
However, I honestly don't know whether the dry cleaner can handle the inlaid exotic leather. This reason alone may dissuade me from considering the jacket (even though I like its look)..
There are 4 flagship stores in US - Madison, NY; Beverly Hills, CA; Miami Design District, FL and San Francisco, CA. In general flagship stores have larger inventory esp for displays than regular stores.I don’t think so. How do I tell if it’s a flag ship? It only has one story lol
Thank you for sharing! This however isn't inlaid with exotic leather for the Chaine d'Ancre motif but gives a general idea on the expectation of price for the one I previously shared.Hi Meta, I just saw this jacket in Aubergine (cashmere/nappa-lambskin) from US H website (SS 2023 collection).
@Meta, I just asked my SA at Madison about a piece that was on line. He asked the head of RTW, and she said if Madison senses something unlikely to sell, they simply won’t consider ordering it. I do know that this coming season, they are very careful about choosing RTW items to offer. I did see a longer coat with all over lizard details at FSH in April of this year, and I believe it was in the neighborhood of 33K EU, if that factoid is helpful to anyone.Hi Meta, I just saw this jacket in Aubergine (cashmere/nappa-lambskin) from US H website (SS 2023 collection).
I only dry clean with my one dry cleaner ( who is not in the official top three in NY as I’ve had issues with nearly all of them). For unusual leather like exotics or fur, he is open about sending to his specialist and does not do this in house.
The cargo pants look amazing on you!! You are looking super slim!!!@Meta, I just asked my SA at Madison about a piece that was on line. Love my new dress and cargo look pants (they apparently unzip to be shorts though I haven’t tried it). Dress a relative bargain at 2400USD; pants 2800USD. I bought size 36 in both, and am usually a chanel 38;dior 40-42
ETA : Last pic: my h mesh backed vest with courreges pants and Birkenstocks
(I love these synthetic, Forrest green, twill painter pants so much I have both the wide leg and slim leg versions. And they are about 450 EU or 760USD when bought in the US. Just putting out that price point to compare to the H lol
