Mine are more than 14"...Like I said I have HUGE calves!My riding boots are custom to fit my calves.
Too much running and riding I suppose.... I wish there was an operation for that...to get rid of huge calves that is...
Give me some! Ack...I usually have to have boots taken in at a cobbler.

Preppycowgirl, I heard the boots can be stretched, so maybe that is an option for you.
I think the name of the other boots (normal buckle) begins with the letter "B", but I can't remember it to save my life. It's a very pretty name too.

There is lol, it's not really an operation, but they just load up your calves with botox and the muscles begin to atrophy. What some crazy people don't do for fashion.
after all this...my SA finally found me something.
the ones in the ads are called jumper...which have a buckle like a Kelly....
there is another boot called [FONT="]Bardigiano [/FONT]...which are the EXACT same shape...just a normal buckle not a fancy Kelly.
so my SA found me brown nubuck suede in the B boots...and I am going to try them on today. I hope they f it!
and I hope they can order me the B boots in black box....
so i have black and brown YAY!

Brown is amazing - and you will look great in it! It's a great neutral, and is so perfect for fall. (I don't remember what colour MaiTai's gorgeous boots are - but the equestrian look is super hot!)

I must take and post a photo of my black nubuck ones. They are tucked away in my closet right now, waiting to come out this autumn (southern hemisphere).
