I checked before and they were sold out in most boutique.

They were $1725 before tax in NY in early October.
There was a long waiting list for them this fall.

$1725 isnt that bad actually, considering my riding boots (for actual riding) were $780, they are called 'Konigs' and are from Germany....dressage boots without laces or zippers, you use bootpulls to pull them on....but I dont wear them over jeans, too form fitting (use with breeches)

They are not bad at all esp. considering you can get them cleaned up, etc., each season.

They are gorge and i too have been looking for black riding boots since last year!! I have such small calves I can never find any that fit right... Good luck on finding them GG. Show us picks if you end up finding them!

I bought a pair of Jumping Boots in Mocha this fall. They are the same as the ones worn in the Kelly Caleche ad (the woman wears the boots, very tight pants, double-loop belt and carries a whip). Come to think of it, does anyone know what the belt is called?
I love love love these boots. They are very comfortable for walking. The loop with the Kelly turnlock is removable so you have the option of a plainer look. I have always worn mine with the loop though. My calves are not as thin as the model's but I don't want to have the boots stretched for me so I am wearing them with tights, very lightweight skinny jeans and leggings this season and hoping they will stretch on their own.
I have also seen someone with a pair from last year in somewhat lighter color. They got worn out beautifully. I was also told Hermes will refurbish them just as they do the bags.

Looks like the Etreviere double tour.

I bought these a couple of months ago in the black nubuck leather. Have not worn them yet because it's summer down here. Can't wait though.

Those boots are TDF! Unfortunately my other half might kill me if I buy another pay of shoes. He's threatening to number the soles so that he can keep track of how many I have. LOL, obviously his plan is not well thought out.
