It’s the older version elan 😭 from 2013. Seller is denying refund even with missing stitches.

Very strange situation, I understand final sale, but at the same time the stitches were not disclosed in the description. They said it was very good condition fully restored by the Hermes spa.

If the bag was restored as the reseller is claiming, can she provide you with the spa receipt
with whatever info may need to be redacted so that you can be reassured that indeed the work
was done by H spa?
Agree with @acrowcounted, this bag needs to go back to the reseller & since the seller is
denying you a refund, can you dispute this charge with your cc if you are within the appropriate time frame?
For me this would be unacceptable, JMO & not wanting to add fuel to the fire, but this is misrepresentation
with intent. Get that spa receipt, the seller should have no problem being upfront with it

this is the spa receipt!! Do any of these mean it was painted? Because i did notice the inside was painted…but I know H no longer services the inside.. I’m sorry but even if they serviced it why is the bag not stitched back together? It even seems they glued the inside back.

I don’t want to blast the reseller company as they’re heavy on social media but i will if i have to.

I would let them know you want to return it for the valid reasons your mentioned and if they still refuse you will post about it everywhere.

To the best of my knowledge, Hermes does not clean the interior of the bag .
This bag needs to go back to the reseller for a multitude of reasons & be as pro-active
as you need to be to get satisfaction

The spa will do what's asked for and agreed on.

If it wasn't sent for repair perhaps the stitching wasn't scrutinised. One would have thought someone would notice, perhaps they just didn't.

From the spa receipt though is it safe to say Hermes did or did not paint it?

There is nothing on that spa receipt that would lead me to believe that Hermes painted the interior. Also, knowing that is a service they do not provide, I further would not believe that Hermes painted the interior.

They wouldn't clean or touch the interior. Hope you get a refund.

This may be interesting reading for you or anyone else who has a white bag.

Yikes, the inside definitely felt like it was touched. It was rough and cracking on the corners inside.

Reseller has agreed to send a return label, fingers crossed everything goes smoothly from here.

And omg I really want a white H bag but only servicing it once makes me a bit nervous!!

Hallo. I am new here. Anyone have experience on putting Garden Party with toile leather into hermes spa? is it possible? I want to clean mine which I bought second hand. thank you
