That is a beautiful classic with many desirable attributes.

On the general topic of preference for some vintage examples if colours like raisn and rouge h,
I wonder if there is something in the dye that matures with age and exposure to light and air?
Just a thought.
I'm sure that the dye must darken with age however I remember stalking new bags and SLG in Raisin and Rouge H many years ago and loving the colour (Raisin especially as I remember it was very deep and saturated and more blue than brown).
When I was going through the leather samples at my H store about a year ago I asked to see the raisin and rouge H samples (this was for a wishlist request) and I was so disappointed with the hue of both.
Maybe the chemicals used in the dyes have evolved over the years (I think I first became aware of Raisin in the late 90's) and this has affected the hue?
I wish someone had a definitive answer as to why in my opinion these two classic colours are now somehow muddied

I really think it's dye lot variation. There is no brown at all, just blue, in my Raisin chèvre Kelly; there is a little bit of brown in the Raisin Clemence Evelyne I almost bought a year or so back; there is a LOT of brown in the Rouge H chèvre lining of my B30; my girlfriend's Rouge H chèvre SO is much redder and more cherry-colored (I know lining chèvre and exterior chèvre are different), and these are all within the last three years.

I've seen brownish and reddish Rouge H bags from the 90s and 2000s....again I think it's just whatever the tannery is doing at the time. The shift away from chromium might have caused a need for some adjustment and that's why there are some darker/browner/less luminous batches out there.

Hi! Beautiful Raisin Chèvre Kelly! Can I ask if this is an SO or was an offer ? I’m hoping the latter as I’m not sure how often single color chèvre are available in boutiques this year. Used to hear of push offers in dark colors, now not really :/

it’s not a SO, no horseshoe stamp, it’s an offer which I purchased from Japan consignment store :)
