here is my haul !

Was just there again. Sadly no restocking of the mousselines this morning-- exactly the same stock they had yesterday. 90cm Carres had also not been restocked from the selection they had 1pm yesterday, nor GM cashmeres. Minor shoe restocking.

Hello Calexandre!
How was the line to the entrance? Did you have to wait long? Thank you for sharing the information below, too!

Hi! I got there at 7:45 this morning and was let into the hall with the first group. (They begin letting people queue inside at 8:45, then allow access to the counters at 9am.) I was first up to the non-90cm-twill counters and the 90cm line was fairly short as well. As expected none of it was as grueling as yesterday's waits.

Thank you, once again, for your feedback. Glad to know it wasn't as grueling as yesterday!

My wife and I went to the Hermes sale for the first time yesterday. We arrived at 11am and got in just before 1pm. The queues inside were also long, we waited over an hour for the scarves and it took over an hour at the shoe counter. There are a lot of professional Chinese buyers there, so expect to see people buying there max of 10 items and then coming back for more.

We headed straight for the cashmere and silk 90x90 and Maxi twilly queue and men's shoes, having searched around and realising that no jewellery was on sale this time. :annoyed:

Our haul included: Lucky brown velour loafers, Kick sneakers.
Plenty of ties around. Some with a stylised or discrete h pattern. I got three cravatte twills; Saumur orange/blue/blanc, Accorde H rouge/perle and A nos H jaune.
My wife got a maxi twilly rose Indien (160 euros), a pink saddle pattern silk 90x90 and a pays des oiseau cashmere shawl in a peach.

Overall, including travel costs etc, we probably saved ourselves just over £2,000 so it was well worth the visit. More so, as most the items were this season. Be aware that they do mark the items with a small s so you cannot return them in Hermes stores but they do this discreetly, either inside the shoe or under the label. We also understand that the sale goes on into evening and there was some restocking that takes place, when we left around 4pm the queue was only 15 minutes to get in.

Maybe your wife was the nice woman I was talking to while waiting in the cashmeres line? If so, tell her the American living in London is glad she found one she liked! :)
