My meager two cents, every SA is different. It’s like meeting someone and thinking “hmm I wonder what I should say to get them to do X” it’s unnatural and it will be clear to them. I would just enjoy your shopping and if all you like from the brand are Birkins…you may as well buy one on resale rather than waiting because it’ll exhaust you if you don’t have a passion for the house in general. If you want to continue in store, Madison Ave has good stock I hear, but they also have clients that are not just buying small items in hopes of getting an offer.
You should stop jumping store to store as it will only hurt your chances at a bag, especially if you don’t have a long list of other items you want to buy. Inventory at all stores is currently at an all time low but expect to purchase at least around $10k in other non-leather items before being considered for a bag offer. No, SAs do not want you to text them to chit chat like a friend, they are far too busy for that and can see right through it. An “H relationship” is based on spending and being polite and easy to work with/non demanding and patient. If there isn’t at least $10,000 worth of other Hermes items that you genuinely want to purchase, I would just get the bag preloved. Otherwise, pick a store/SA and stick with it, spend, and be patient (as unsavory as an answer that that may be…)
I agree with the posters above. Honestly, I wouldn’t waste my SA’s time by showing up to the store and spending only 2k. My Madison SA probably won’t even agree to charge send unless the bill is around 3k. I am also Asian American. My sa is not and I highly enjoy working together. I wouldn’t want to work with anyone else. Also, Madison is competitive, especially this year. Recently, I spent 3:1 before I got my birkin.
I have been shopping for over a year and have probably spent closer to 3:1 now across a lot of different categories (Leather goods, home, RTW, fine jwl). I have not been offered a B or K yet but understand there is low inventory and ppl who have higher spend. You def need to establish a good relationship with one SA and make the effort in spend before getting an offer or even having your wishlist added to the system. FYI, I shop at MP.
My SA is leaving The Bellagio in Vegas so I'm trying to figure out next steps. Would you continue to shop there (going in person only about 3-4 times/year) with a new recommended SA or begin a new relationship in NYC (which is my home city)? For transparency, I buy what I want but also would like BKC offers. Hoping some of the Vegas TPFers like @_kiki119_ will also see this and weigh in.

I went yesterday to the Madison boutique. Great experience! I have a Kelly and Birkin never was attracted to an Evelyne. So I tried it on since I needed a replacement for my traveling bag. It was cute and I decided to purchase it. Right away I told her to check for a Birkin 25 or 30. She said they didn’t get a shipment and the ones were already reserved. I said that’s ok to get my number and call me if she got one before tomorrow. She was super nice. I texted her once again yesterday. As soon as store opened she checked but no deliveries. I believe her and I also got her door director’s name. She emailed me and wants to meet me next time I visit. All in all same experience like Chicago store. I can shop in both stores with no obligations and nobody mentioned that I have to spend certain amount.
Anyone has return experience with MP store? When I return an item, can I just go in or I have to return it to my SA directly? Also will the SA know if I return it with someone else (i.e. is this a redflag to SA)

womp I emailed the SA I worked with in my first appointment to make an appointment to make a second purchase, but haven’t heard back. What would you recommend doing in this case? Was thinking about stopping by in the store but not sure when the SA would be working…
Manager needs to approve for the return and yes you should do with your SA and just be honest why you returned it.
Yep in the US. Specifically in the MP store in NYC. My first appt was about ~4 weeks ago.
Hi! I am wanting a neutral color B30 in Craie, GHW in togo. I know, it's a hard color to get. I spoke with my SA and she said to give her my a few options but light colors like Craie will be hard. Not sure what to do since that is what I really want. Do you think if I wait and go in and buy a few things eventually I will get it or is this just an impossible color/combo to get? Thank you so much!
If you are looking for something specific, yes email again with that, and if you do not get a response, drop by when its convenient for you.
