May I ask when did your SA say that? I thought I saw someone posting before that no appointments are needed anymore. Just wondering if the protocol might have changed. Thanks again!!

That was me... a couple weeks ago they were indeed doing walk ins. I even ate across the street at Nellos and people were walking in. But who knows... things can change quickly... :confused1: I know Meatpacking needed appointments when I went last time.

So only Madison needs appointment? I spoke to someone at the Wall Street location last week and they don't require appointments either.

I suppose so but maybe call to confirm and see if anything has changed. Meatpacking opening to the public was a recent development from the last two weeks or so.

FYI according to Hermès.com, none of the NYC stores currently require appointments. If you look up other stores, like Boston, you can see the blurb they include if it’s appointment only.

This Monday, actually. I have a bag with them and got a message saying it is ready for pick up. The store mentioned that I should schedule an appointment. Talked to my SA, and she said she would like to know when I will be coming, too. But based on H.com, this may no longer be true??

My advice? Make the appointment-or at least touch base with your SA to give her/him an approximate time. Not only is it considerate of their time, but allows her/him to make sure they are free when you come in, and not have just taken a walk in whom they cannot just abandon because you came in.

Yeah I always make an appointment with my SA before I go - have been doing this ever since I started shopping at H. Maybe now they just assumed that's my shopping style LOL!

Agree. I always do that but I was askin for my friend who doesn't have a regular SA there. Anyway, we called this morning because we went and the store said no appointment needed. It is now open to the public.

We went there around 12 and there was no line outside and the lovely SA spent more than an hour with my friend and me.
