Thank you so much for responding. It’s been a while since I posted this q. Does h. Americana work like other h stores where the purchase history resets with a b or k then? Or is it different since it’s privately owned
I don’t quite understand your question. But personally I don’t think the purchase history is a big deal for NY shop, as long as you are a local
I’m asking specifically about the Americana manhasset store since it’s a franchise and works differently then the other NY store
So has the appointment policy been implemented at Madison? I haven't been there in a long while but am planning to go maybe this Thursday. I have an SA that I have a pretty good relationship with although I haven't been in contact with her in so long so I am curious.
I was there three weeks ago to pick up some scarves and strolled through leathers without really intending to look. A lady with her child was there as well and asked if she needed help so I don’t think there’s a policy in place...yet.
If you don’t shop there, you’ll most likely not get a bag, just because they (owner) doesn’t know you. ((This is what I hear )) Personally, I have never shopped there or have been there, just know it’s the last privately owned store and it’s hard to get stuff there if they don’t know you.

I wish I could help you as I am a regular at Manhasset, but all I can say is that, as a longtime customer, it hasn’t applied to me. However, I don’t keep track of what I spend there, and due to limits on inventory, I doubt very many clients are offered more than two quota bags a year, anyway...if you’re that good of a client, you’re getting a PO, and that’s only twice a year. Stock Bs and Ks are super rare and only for regulars. That said, C does not count.
Thank you for responding. My question wasn’t about the bags offered. I read on the forum that when your birkin or Kelly comes in your purchase history is reset, if that’s the case I wanted to know if this specific store worked like that as well or just based on overall history and relationships.
I understood that. Im just saying that there will be enough tome between getting bags there, so that if you’re a somewhat regular customer it wouldn’t be an issue because you will have spent enough anyway. But I don’t know if they do that, they haven’t for me....but again, I am sure I spend enough, so who knows??? I mean, for a while I was coming in every week while my DSs were in a class nearby and every week I ran into the SAME couple there. She has tons of exotic Bs but they’re buying stuff literally every week.
It’s probably closer to overall history and relationships, or at least it was in the past.
