From what I've been told, that store will open next spring ( approx 1 year) probably within a month or so of the WB store opening. Not sure which will be first. Everyone is shooting for April, but I would think a lot has to do with construction timing, shipments etc. so still undecided.

I just got an invitation to an event “Mystery at the Grooms’” at the south street seaport. Any clue what that might be? Says for 7 and up, lasts about an hour and to bring a charged cell phone. Guessing some sort of clue gathering experience but wondered whether someone had info.
It's supposed to be an escape room type of event. 🤷♀️
My invitation also says "followed by a walking dinner." What is a walking dinner??

I was just at an event with a "walking dinner". I have also never heard of the term before. I assumed it would be moving as a group to different food stations withing the venue. It turned out to be just a fancy name for a cocktail party style buffet.
Madison Ave is a flagship and has the highest amount of stock. That would be my recommendation
This sounds like a less costly way to cater to/feed guests. Personally, I’m not a fan of stations bc of bottlenecks. I’d rather passed appetizers and small plates (both as a guest and as a host)
My SA said that there is rtw rendezvous stock coming in (presumably the first of fall 2025 coming in for purchase ? I made an appt though I don’t know if I want anything or even am in the mood to shop (my SA knows this lol but suggested I come in anyway). I think that they might have bought a lot in the silk palefroi pattern in black and charcoal. Prices seem higher than usual (a friend shared these with me and converted into usd, maybe 5K usd for the caftan but idk ?)

Wow, the caftan I bought a year and a half ago was $4k. That would be a 25% increase in a little over a year if the caftans are now $5k. My SA said the retrospective RTW collection ie, JPG, Margiela, et al will only happen at the flagships. BH will have the collection in September. I suspect that Madison will have the collection earlier.

Yup. Caftans have hit AUD$8k here in Australia (last season as well as this season IIRC).
Hi! Did anyone else get this invite at Meatpacking (not even my store)? It’s a cocktail event, I assume will be showing the collab and maybe some art(?), my SA didn’t have any informaron on it. I’ve RSVPed, but considering I’ve been falling asleep at 8:30 the last few days, I’m hesitating on making the trek. Would love more info:

He was my SA about a year and a half ago, and due to personal reasons I stopped shopping for awhile and also lost a lot of contact info.
