AFAIK this is not an event that had formal invitations from corporate, it's more like one of those "shopping events" where you'd get a verbal heads-up/invite from your SA, and if interested in attending then a standard appointment would be booked for the day.

Yes agree. And my impression was that a bag would be offered at this event, although it is not guaranteed.
Unlike the cocktail hours and other special events at Madison that are not selling events, just entertainment, it seems that bags are being offered at the V day events.

ETA: some stores also hosted the private event during hours when the store is normally closed for a more intimate shopping experience.

My personal experience of these Valentines Day events is that they typically fall on Super Bowl Sunday, special bags are flown in and offered for this event and high spenders are typically offered 1 to 2 hour appointments. This year Beverly Hills expanded the event to two days. The event started on Saturday when the store was open and I have never seen the store so swamped. The event also coincided with the Lunar New Year. The BH store had just received RTW and bags from Paris for the event just as Madison.

Yup MP is normally closed on Mondays. No idea if any drinks/snacks will be served, but I'm hoping for a nice little mimosa break during the work day lol, and an offer. ;) Will post in the offers thread once confirmed.

Ahhh can’t wait to see!!! I definitely saw some very special bags being offered!!! I agree with @haute okole that they received big shipments from Paris for these V day events. Doesn’t seem like every store held one though. Not sure how they decide which stores do them. Have fun tomorrow!
The event I went to served champagne, mimosas, cut fruit, and delicious chocolates. There were also goody bags. (I forgot to take one though!)

Ooh your event sounds like so much fun! (I wish we shopped at the same store lol).
The MP events are usually more subdued I think? We'll see.
I feel like the special bags didn't arrive until like last week. My super sweet and considerate SA was like we can cancel if we don't get anything lol so you don't waste your time during a work day. But I don't wanna jinx anything and reveal until it's clutched in my hands! :lol:

I don’t know if she meant for me specifically and my situation… I’m definitely not a top spender but I’m exactly a year from my last QB at 6:1 waiting for a mk… but thought it was worth sharing.

She made some comments about how there wasn’t a kelly belt with palladium hardware over an 8 month span and similar situations. I guess that as sales are booming they are under a lot more pressure with a lot less inventory, even at such a successful store. Additionally, she kept saying “I believe 2025 will be a lot better”

Just thought it was worth sharing as insight. She also said she hasn’t sold a mk since Sept… but a friend of mine was offered one at same store with diff sa last month.

My SA told me the same thing regarding one QB this year, as I just received one in January. I'm not a big spender either, so I figured she was just trying to give me realistic expectations, which I appreciate! She also told me the same thing regarding overall stock levels for 2024. I hope your MK comes soon!!

Thank you! She has been telling me "next month we'll try" every month since August :( but i know the name of the game, all good no expectations.. and asked for a C18 and got one in vert yucca on the spot :)
