I’ve stated how inundated SAs are with texts. Since they apologized for all the confusion, it doesn’t sound like the SA was blowing you off. As mentioned, you’re early on so if you vibed with the second SA, then just work with them if you like.

This isn't correct. MP at least gets shipments directly from the warehouse in Jersey.Madison maison has the most stocks. Other stores receive their stocks through Madison maison.
Interesting. One of the SAs in MP told me that I should stick with Madison because they dont get stocks before Madison...This isn't correct. MP at least gets shipments directly from the warehouse in Jersey.
I'd definitely choose Madison for RTW, though.
…that doesn’t mean the stock comes through Madison, just that flagships get stuff first.Interesting. One of the SAs in MP told me that I should stick with Madison because they dont get stocks before Madison...

Exactly. Ugh. loljust another SA lying.

I believe you posted the same question in the relationship thread, and I agree with @acrowcounted 's advice to go into the store for in person shopping. That's really the best way to build rapport with your SA vs over text. I don't think your SA is signaling that they no longer want to work with you, but unfortunately you probably are a low priority client for her since you said your prespend is low. Also sometimes a non-response to an item inquiry means it's not available, not that she's trying to ignore you. I know there was inventory of Constance bags in the fall though because I got am ombre lizard C18 from Madison in October. I understand your quandary is how you are supposed to make an appt with her if she is not responding... and again, I agree with @acrowcounted 's suggestion to either call the store (perhaps she doesn't work there anymore) or text her again and instead of asking about a specific item, just ask her for an appointment to look at _____ whatever it is you're interested in getting. I guess if you still don't hear back from her, maybe she's no longer with H... or maybe she really isn't interested, so just go into the store and try to meet another SA. Good luck!I’m looking for some advice specific to the Madison store. For context, I’ve l been shopping with the same SA at the Madison store for about five years. I’ve bought various things over the years, mostly shoes and handbags including a couple Evelyns, Halzan, Constance and two Kellys. The SA has always been a bit sporadic responding to my texts / emails, probably answering once every three to four times I reach out. I reach out about once every couple months. Since last fall, I’ve been trying to see if I can get a Constance, pretty much any 24 or mini. We texted a few times last fall but she said there’s “no inventory.” She told me to stay in touch after the new year. I tried to reach out several times this month and she is not responding to my texts at all. I’m not a big pre-spender and only buy select non-leather goods when I see something I really like. Is this recent ghosting from my SA signaling that they no longer want to work with me? Or that my pre-spend is too low? Sometimes I reach out with requests for items I’m interested in (not handbags) and want to come into the store to buy but most of the time those messages get ignored too. Not sure if $1-2k items (shoes, jewelry) just aren’t worth their time?
When we shopped at Madison last year, the edict from above was to get customers into the store and not do as much over text. Obviously if you’re not local, that’s more difficult, but I’m just telling you what our SA at the time said. Besides, the SAs are inundated with hundreds of texts in a couple hours, so I don’t consider lack of response “ghosting”I’m looking for some advice specific to the Madison store. Madison and BH are the two Hermes Maisons in the US. They each have extensive RTW and home departments. The buy is slightly different. IMO BH has more color in women’s RTW and a more edgy selection (IDKW) in men’s knitwear. But, for coats, jackets, leather RTW and latest dresses, skirts, and pants, I think Madison gets quite a bit. The women’s RTW buyer told me last fall that Madison selects closer fitted outerwear (she said I would not be able to get a navy double breasted leather pea coat in the US) and has limited sizes. But, women’s RTW sizes have really been enormous lately. (I fit into both a 2018 size 42 leather trench and 2023 size 34-36 coats) Have a good time shoppingI am headed to NYC and wondering which location is best for RTW. I am assuming the new flagship but would appreciate if someone can confirm. I am only planning to visit one location.
