Was wondering the same thing--I remember reading a few months back that there were rumors of it re-opening in May 2024; meaning the pop-up at Roosevelt Field will close around the same time.

These were all rumors but would like to see if anyone has updates on this too!
I asked the store manager at Roosevelt, which very rudely kept replying “no.” To every question i had in regards to this

“Will the manhasset store be opening up again?”
No.
“Oh really. I thought…”
(cuts me off) no.
“I understand you get this question a lot, i am just surprised that…”
(Cuts me off again) No.

🙄 no further questions your honor…

Manhasset is/was a franchise location so the SM may not know. I’ve heard rumors that H will take it over as a corporate store, but haven’t heard anything official. Could be outstanding legal issues and whatnot between corporate and the franchisee. Who knows.

Yes I’m very familiar with what happened at the Americana location. It’s a prime spot for any designer store and I can’t imagine Hermes not taking the opportunity to open it up under their own management.

I was at Americana’s concierge last week and asked the woman I was working with. She said I know there was chatter but haven’t heard anything new as of now.

Since Williamsburg will be a large store, and it’s less than a half hour drive from Manhasset, maybe they think there is no need? Who knows.
True. Personally, if I was them, I would open both considering that Williamsburg and LI are different crowds, both with an abundance of wealth.

The north shore of Nassau County has lots of women (and men) who are eager to shop and do not drive into the city often. I grew up near Americana and have friends who work as SAs in the boutiques… let’s just say there are hundreds of women who have 10k+ monthly allowances that they’d love to spend there.

Interesting...

Thank you for posting!

Hey would like some advice on whether I should switch SAs.

I found a SA at one of the NYC stores and had a good impression at first - on my first visit, took the time to take note of my wrist size for future reference and spent a while with me suggesting items and talking about them. One of my items was a gorgeous bracelet similar to the double tour. Once I got home I noticed the bracelet had a couple of scratches. I felt bad for wanting to exchange but texted the SA with the pictures and asked if I could exchange. Days later, SA responded and told me I could go in for an exchange. I'm not sure what the SA text SLA time period is.

I tell the SA what time I go in for the exchange, and go in for the exchange and find myself waiting for an hour. The SA also stacked a bunch of other clients to pick up stuff.

I tell the SA of some shoes I want to try and schedule another visit. I even text the SA "I'll be 5 minutes late." I get to the store and am told the SA isn't there. I really did wish the SA told me ahead of time so I could reschedule, but maybe that's expecting too much?

Days later SA responds to my confused text asking if I even arrived on the correct date, and apologizes. On the day the SA wasn't there, another SA helped me and I really liked their vibe.

Am I being too uptight thinking maybe I should switch SAs? For those of you who have switched an SA among the NYC stores - why did you do it, and how did you pick your next SA?

Thanks a bunch.

It sounds too me like the first relationship is not deep enough for this to be an issue. Shopping should feel good. I'd say switch
