I was wondering if it’s relatively easy to buy a rodeo or pegase charm at Madison (?) I wasn’t really keen on getting one before but I saw a vert comics rodeo charm online and thought oh cute i’ll get it the next time i go in store..

But then my home store is in DC (no trashing but it says a lot re availability lol) and only recently found out that these charms are rare. For more context, I saw this around first week November and I have been checking their website morning and night. Hindsight is 20/20 and I should’ve just added to cart as soon as it popped available online.

Am I open to other colors? To be honest I know myself; I am very exacting and stubborn as a bull 🤣🤣🤣 the good thing about it is I also have an uncanny ability to wait as long as it’s for the right one.

Long story short I will be in NY for the holidays and was hoping to get one 🤞🏼 Also the mini bolide ostrich on display if i’m going full on delulu 😂

Out of the stores in NYC, Madison will have the best selection, so it will likely be your best bet. If you are in love with a certain color like the comics one, and you see it online, I’d recommend buying it as you won’t know what the selection of colors will be in store.

Ohhh I managed to get that one online!!!

It will be hit or miss at Madison, as @cravin said. I’m sure they will have rodeos / pégase charms, just maybe not in that color. Not sure if they will sell you an ostrich bolide as a walk in, but I guess you never know! Bolide may not be as popular in ostrich, so you could get lucky! Good luck!

Hi all, I’m sorry if this is a stupid question. I’m not local to NYC but have gone to the Madison store and wanted to try out a Jypsiere that time from their display. None of the SAs were available to let me try it on and I couldn’t wait. I am going to NYC this week and was wondering if it is okay to request an appointment on a weekday to try on a couple of bags? I really want to try on a jypsiere, a 24/24 and a Halzan. I have gone to FP once to try on bags but they could tell I was there just to try on and quite unhelpful.

Sure, I don't see why not! Although I don't see the book an appt feature available for Madison on the website anymore. You probably just have to go in and ask the concierge at the door to find an SA to help you. Good luck!

Thank you I hope so too!! And yes, it’s a cute color, right? I didn’t even consider getting one before ~until~ I saw that vert comics one.. Also now I feel ok that I wasn’t able to get it since it’s in good hands 😂

Yes to try going on a weekday.. Heard the stores are crazy busy given the holidays 🎄 re appointment, from experience I walked in the first time I visited (Friday); The bag that I wanted wasn’t available but, like what @880 mentioned, they are a friendly bunch there and the SA suggested scheduling me for an appointment the following morning so we can check the new delivery. Good luck!!

Big bags aren’t the easiest to find because they are not in demand and therefore not ordered as frequently. If you can get an SO, I would use that for a b35 or k32. A verso is not very noticeable in a k.

That being said, Madison is very competitive because of so many customers. If you visit your SA regularly, then your chances of getting a Birkin shouldn’t be an issue over time. Don’t expect the SA to proactively text you, but mention your wish every now and again when you visit. (By now and again, I mean like once every six months). Have a good time and have fun chatting with the SA and eventually it should happen.

I spent around $11k and got my first QB B25 @ Madison

What do you do if the SA keeps bringing it up? I mentioned it only once and to specifically inquire if they were getting any large bags on occasion. Since then each time I go I am asked again about my wishlist by SA (but no bags have appeared). Is it possible that the SA is just new? Trying to be nice ? I have only bought things I like and we have fun hanging out- I wish I needed more H things because it’s always a good time
