Went to the rendezvous RTW event today. Was told two guests invited per hour so very private. There were drinks and appetizers that I didn’t try (I don’t like mixing food or drink with trying on clothing); a nice model who changed outfits a few times (and popped into the dressing room to show me); and, an artist who did a quick portrait. At the bar I saw another client who looked like she was about to leave, with her portrait, and we exchanged quick hellos. I picked up a shearling jacket in beige twinning with @haute okole ‘s jacket in Nero); a women’s sweater; and a sweater for DH. It was really nice to have the store empty and to yourself. For RTW details, see H RTW (post 3190, https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/hermes-rtw.920133/page-213 and purchase of the day

ETA: air conditioning isn’t optimal; there were box fans
@spape08 , glad MP had what you were looking for !

here is the portrait they did (of me wearing the shearling that I bought and my B30)

Love love love this shearling jacket on you! And this portrait is so cute! Thank you for sharing! I'm going to the RTW event at MP in a couple weeks, not sure if it'll be the same but definitely looking forward to it.

Thank you! Hope you have an amazing time :hugs:

@fatalstar , typical wisdom is not to overthink one’s purchases, but go about it in an organic fashion. However, many choose to buy items that they want when they appear bc there is no guarantee that the specific one will be available indefinitely

This will be my 1st time shopping at Hermes. How should you pace you shopping items to show brand interest and longevity? There are about 6 things in different categories I'm interested in but I'm wondering if I should buy all in one visit or spread them out.
You'll need to consider item availability, highly likely not all 6 items will be available all at once anyway. Things also tend to sell out very quickly these days. It's a slippery slope though, you'll soon find way more than just 6 things that you want. :P

Which of the NYC stores (including Jersey) are good for developing a SA relationship for access to inventory? Looking to be a regular at store in hopes of getting a Kelly
Madison is a flagship store so has the most inventory but is probably also the most competitive. You should be able to get a Kelly eventually from any of the stores. Each store has a different vibe so it’s probably better, if you have the time, to go to each of the stores and see which you like the best and where you find an SA you think you can work with.
