Hi everyone, officially booked my first trip to Paris :smile: A friend of mine mentioned they were specifically linking New York and Paris accounts. Does anyone have insight on this? It’s hard to imagine it would only be those two places.

Also, do I mention out of respect to my SA that I am going and may do some shopping there? Is it necessary… or Europe is an exception?

Answers to both of these questions seem to vary depending on the circumstances IMO.

Last year, I was specifically told by FSH and NY that the accts were not linked. Both stores have also told me that they don’t have RTW or other non QB purchases on file. i would actually prefer linkage bc then H would have a record of all my sizes and Styles.

Re telling your SAs, you should do what feels right to you. It’s shopping, not marriage. I am open about all purchases including QB bc I feel that helps inform my SAs re my taste. Its easier for them to find things that they think I might like if they know what I have.

What QBs I purchase with my FSH SA has not affected my NY offers and vice versa. Within the last two weeks I was fortunate to be offered QB at both FSH and in NY, both of which I declined. Neither NY nor FSH consider my allotment complete for the year, had I purchased both. I do not have much of a spending history at FSH, but I do have ample prespend in NY, mainly RTW.

ETA: all of my Hermes profiles are under the same name

i find that Courreges has amazing RTW at relatively good price points, ( three pairs of pants, two western denim styled jackets, and a sweater for about the same price as the H apron dress). The Courreges flagship store has an enormous selection compared to NY, if you are so inclined! The dior museum is also beautiful, but get tickets ahead to avoid the line. Have fun!

Hot off the press -

my SA just alerted me today that starting tomorrow March 24th, an online leather appointment system a la Paris FSH will be implemented at the NYC Madison store location. No specific details yet as the store team is instructed to show up at 8am in the morning for training. I was informed that this is supposed to be a trial for the US region.
Hope to have more details soon... :confused1:

Thoughts? Speculations? What's going to happen to the majority of the store's customers who are in fact NYC based?

my SA for one is extremely upset by this announcement...
Is it for real ? My Sa is newer so didn't tell me anything seeing him next month !

I recently had a similar experience with a charge send from MP. Started getting worried after a few days with no delivery notification from Fedex, but then the package magically appeared about a week later. I never did get an email from Fedex. So maybe wait a couple more days...

I don’t think it would hurt to follow up to see if they have a tracking number since it’s been almost a week. I’ve had it happen where the item was out of stock and I don’t think the SA gets notified either unless they check.


Not that my charge send saga is scintillating, but my SA said she was told the delay in shipment is due to short staffing at the sending boutique
That said, tomorrow will be two weeks since I made the order in store - just wondering if they didn’t actually double-sell the inventory or something

Has anyone else had this happen? I genuinely don’t mind waiting but I don’t have a doorman so I do need to know if things are coming

Did you check with your SA recently? 2 weeks is a long time for delivery….
 
I’m heading to NY this weekend. How is stock at Madison? Have anyone score any quota bags recently.
Stock seems to be excellent, perhaps due to upcoming Mother’s Day. But, I am also sure that many bags will already be spoken for various clients. I was just offered a 25B quadrille last week but I declined bc I already have a 28K quadrille. (My SA knows I love toile and black and white, and there was a brief minute where I contemplated both in my closet :smile:

Hi! Has anyone heard a firm date for the Williamsburg opening? Will there be an event with invites? I initially heard April 30th? But have heard nothing since.
I heard from my SA today that it is opening May 26. But it will be a pop up store with limited stock and no bags… until the permanent location is completed in a couple years or so…

Please let us know your outcome. Sorry this happened to you. My SA would want to know so that he could track it down
But, he also told me that if something I wanted popped up as available in a boutique that had a poor reputation for charge send, he would advise me against the order (I usually take his advice)

I followed up with my SA last weds but didn’t hear back…I do wish she’d told me whether the store was unreliable. I can’t imagine they stopped all charge sends for that long unless it’s a very small boutique that’s in a staffing crisis?!
If I just put a deposit down for inventory not received yet, that’d be fine too, but it didn’t seem like that’s the case
I’ll give it another week and then check in again
