Thank you! You are always so generous with your advice

I followed up with my SA last weds but didn’t hear back…I do wish she’d told me whether the store was unreliable. I can’t imagine they stopped all charge sends for that long unless it’s a very small boutique that’s in a staffing crisis?!
If I just put a deposit down for inventory not received yet, that’d be fine too, but it didn’t seem like that’s the case
I’ll give it another week and then check in again
I think sometimes shadier stores see the charge send and then take a few days to try to sell the item themselves before shipping it out (especially if it’s a high demand item). Other times (especially for shoes) the item may be the last one and on display so not in perfect saleable condition. In those cases, sometimes the store gets lazy and just ignores the charge send until the originating store gives up and cancels the order.

Gah thank you as well! That makes sense on both counts. It was Soleil porcelain so possibly in higher demand?! My SA was able to locate pretty easily elsewhere since MP didn’t have.
I do just kind of want to know either way but I’ll hold off for another week or so - my first charge send gone awry!

Regarding the question about the pop up store….

anyone can visit the pop up. I’m not sure if there will be an opening party … I’m assuming when the flagship opens but not sure about the temporary store

Ive been spending over 18k at Fidi and still havent received my quota bag offer since last November 2022. Can someone shop there share your experience? is this a typical spending ratio in this location?
Do you mean your spend is less than 2X Or 2:1 (excluding leather) ? If so, then yes, many on the NY thread spend more and are still waiting

ETA : size K28 or B30 is significantly easier, but competition is more fierce and average spending is higher than before

I only shopped there a bit before moving to Madison but a friend of mine who shops there says it takes time depending on the items you purchase.

For what it’s worth… if you are looking for new dinnerware and like their pieces… she bought a set and claims it helped tremendously in getting a mini Kelly.

Ive been buying shoes, watches, bracelets across my different categories. Started the journey since November 2022 so I started getting impatient

Unfortunately, many luxury shoppers have similar profiles and spend significantly more than 2X in a similar timeframe. If the bag is your main goal and you are in a hurry, I always recommend reseller. If you want a boutique bag, I suggest going this route if you love RTW and home and are willing to wait. JMO
