I think sometimes shadier stores see the charge send and then take a few days to try to sell the item themselves before shipping it out (especially if it’s a high demand item). Other times (especially for shoes) the item may be the last one and on display so not in perfect saleable condition. In those cases, sometimes the store gets lazy and just ignores the charge send until the originating store gives up and cancels the order.Thank you! You are always so generous with your advice
I followed up with my SA last weds but didn’t hear back…I do wish she’d told me whether the store was unreliable. I can’t imagine they stopped all charge sends for that long unless it’s a very small boutique that’s in a staffing crisis?!
If I just put a deposit down for inventory not received yet, that’d be fine too, but it didn’t seem like that’s the case
I’ll give it another week and then check in again
