I visited Madison early December, went to the leather bag floor and approached someone who didn’t look busy. Worst experience ever! Her attitude was beyond words as if I bothered her during her working hours (maybe she expected to be on payroll with minimal or NO work?). I left that floor immediately. The guy at the front door was nice and courteous, maybe she should learn from him how to treat clients with respect.
It was my first time visiting the newly remodeled store, nice ambience, but it’s a shame that SA ruined the entire shopping experience.
Went to meatpacking, and the service was much better.

Meatpacking has always consistently been super friendly and helpful. Madison is hit or miss, depending on SA. So sorry you had such a distasteful experience at Madison.

Wall Street has been a bust both times I've visited, and I visited on multiple days. I don't think I will return next time, partially due to my experience and partially due to the lack of stock compared to other stores.

I was looking for a small bag as a Christmas gift, the meatpacking SA asked if she could put me on a wishlist, but I told her I needed it before the 25th.
I appreciate the gesture though. She even apologized for making me wait to be assisted. Now that’s excellent customer service!

I think others have said that they are low on bags, but it doesn’t hurt to ask. If possible, go early on a weekday.

Hi all! So I’m wondering if I can get some helpful tips lol I’m hoping to stop by any HERMÈS store near NY it can be literally any store, the closest one to me is actually in GREENWICH CT. I dont have a shopping history with Hermès, pretty sure i once purchased only a lipstick from them. But i really want to gift myself a tpm evelyne. Can anyone recommend a store location or anything that can help my chances. I’m looking to pop in the next 2-3 weeks. I figured after the rush of the holidays might be best. Also if you can tell me if i which stores have a baby gear ? I’m looking to buy a swaddling blanket i saw online and will the sa there help me purchase something from the petit h collection that’s online? Happy Holidays !!

I was in that boutique yesterday. I like it a lot and alternate between Greenwich and Madison. The SAs and very friendly and all work together nicely. Nice natural lighting, especially in the scarf area.

I’ve never been in the Greenwich store. But Madison or the MP stores may have TPMs. I doubt any SA would help you with a Petit H order since that is strictly online purchase only. But you could order online for pick up at a store. Madison has a Children’s section. I can’t remember if MP has one or not.

MP does have a housewares and children's section- but who knows if any store will have a specific item you are looking for after the holidays.
Perhaps consider allowing a week or 2 after Christmas to let people do returns, which could ( in theory at least) improve stock situation. But that's a real guess.
Also- bring the product code of the blanket you want with you- if they do not have it, they can order it for you.

Just wanted to give an update on visiting the Madison store as a tourist. I visited Madison store on Boxing Day (probably not the best idea as the stocks were so low) and got only a few items. Hinted to my sa that I want a bag but there are “no stocks”. I told him I’ll come back after the new year on the 2nd of January and today I got a Kelly 25 tricolor sellier without buying anymore items. They were only offering the tricolors and only in 2 color ways to me. Regardless, I’m super happy now and I think it’s a new year miracle!

What colors were offered/did you choose?

And may I understand that this was your first time shopping at Madison? What was your total purchase if you don't mind sharing?

I honestly wasn’t really given an option for the color way. He just brought a box out and showed me. He did say it came in another color way but if I wanted to see that color, I would have to let this one go. So I didn’t see the other color way and took the one he brought out. I never bought anything from Madison store. I only came to pick up an online purchase in this store many years back.

Sorry let me clarify, before the purchase of a few items on Boxing Day, I only came in to pick up an online order at the store. My first time shopping at the Madison store was on Boxing Day. And today when I got the bag was my second time shopping there. Since I don’t have an extensive purchase history here, I was only offered the tricolor Kelly in probably not the most popular colors. But I’m not complaining!
